Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was a huge hit for both Respawn Entertainment and Star Wars games in general. The sprawling single-player action-adventure experience introduced fans to Cal Kestis and several other Jedi trying to find there way after the events of Order 66 tore the fabric of their reality apart.

The game saw great sales and critical success, so it's safe to say a sequel is likely already in development. With that being said, let's look at 5 Jedi who could appear in the sequel and 5 who likely won't be seen at all.

10 Won't: Luke Skywalker

Luke Skywalker not appearing in the sequel is mostly a logical conclusion based on the sequel likely taking place shortly after the first one ended. If this was the case then the events of the game would still be occurring years before Luke becomes a Jedi and puts into motion everything he does to take down Darth Vader and the Empire.

The only way it could happen is if they decide to mess around with time travel shenanigans, which is highly unlikely considering they want these games to be considered canon in the actual universe.

9 Appear: Ferus Olin

For those unfamiliar, Ferus Olin is a Jedi who reverted to being considered Legends and no longer canon once Disney purchased Star Wars. The house of mouse has shown a willingness to take some of the more beloved parts of the Legends canon and bring it into the fold in an official way, so there's always hope for Ferus Olin.

He founded a rebel organization on a planet called Bellassa shortly after Order 66 occurred which means that he could be a surprise point of inspiration and strength Cal comes across in his continued journey to help the Jedi Order.

8 Won't: Jaro Tapal

This is a tough one to call because based on the writers of the game this can go either way. Some may see Cal's journey in the first game as one centered on his unresolved grief over the death of his former Jedi Master Jaro Tapal.

This means that returning to him after Cal essentially got the closure he needed would feel unnecessary and cheapen the first game. On the other hand, he could return as a point of inspiration and can offer sage wisdom and jokes instead of being a burden Cal carries on his back.

7 Appear: Obi-Wan

Considering the people at Disney would likely not want a video game to interfere and muddy the story-telling of the upcoming Disney+ series, Obi-Wan's appearance would likely be reserved to a simple cameo. He popped up in the first game via a hologram and delivered a message across the galaxy.

Don't be surprised if he pops up in relatively the same way in the sequel. He's a beloved Jedi character who helps pieces of media earn quick points of Star Wars validation, and the time period of the sequel will align with a pivotal point in Obi-Wan's journey.

6 Won't: Taron Malicos

Taron Malicos was the Jedi Master who crash-landed on Dathomir as he tried to escape those who turned on him following the initiation of Order 66. He let the darkness consume him and he became something much closer to a Sith than a Jedi.

It's unclear if he died in the game as once he was defeated, Nightsister Merrin buried him deep within the Dathomir underground with her magic. He was introduced as someone who could challenge Cal's views on the Jedi, but at this point, a surprising return by Malicos doesn't seem like it'd do anything to improve Cal's character arc.

5 Appear: Ahsoka Tano

Ahsoka Tano falls into this weird place where she's the most beloved Jedi to never appear in a Star Wars film outside of a few voice lines. Like the previously mentioned Obi-Wann, she's also a character whose cameo would immediately earn browning points with the fandom.

The worry is that a strong female character will be introduced in the sequel to challenge Cal Kestis and Merrin's relationship, but with Ahsoka, it will be like she's challenging his commitment to the force and the Jedi way, and not necessarily choosing between two women to love.

4 Won't: Eno Cordova

Eno Cordova, mostly known as Cere Junda's one-time Jedi Master, played a pivotal role in helping Cal Kestis find a purpose. Alongside BD-1, Eno pushed Cal to look for and uncover the Holocron containing the locations of all of the force-sensitive beings that could help restore the Jedi Order after the events of Order 66.

With the Holocron now destroyed and Cere Junda in a better place mentally, it's hard to see Eno play any role in the sequel as his life's purpose was completed before the ending of the original game.

3 Appear: Cere Junda

Whether Cal Kestis is the lead protagonist in the sequel or not is a question fans are dying to hear answered. No matter what that answer is, there's a strong chance that Cere Junda makes an appearance in either a major or minor supporting role.

The beauty of the first game is that the story was focused on Cal's journey to becoming a Jedi, but at the same time, there was a secondary story arc about Cere's return to the Jedi Order after having to witness those closest to her turn to the dark side of the force through sheer torture.

2 Won't: Trilla Suduri

The Second Sister was no longer a Jedi after she was taken away from Cere Junda, but in her final moments, she did communicate with a Jedi's spirit. It's easy to point at what she became as a sign of weakness on her part, but the level of torture and punishment she experienced would break even the strongest of minds.

Considering how skilled she was, it's a shame the world at large never had the chance to see the type of Jedi she could have become. The few flashbacks players get to see of her with Cere show how responsible, caring, and empathetic she was to others before darkness consumed her.

1 Appear: Cal Kestis

Cal Kestis appearing in the sequel may seem like a no brainer because it's assumed that he'll return as the protagonist, but that's not something that's been confirmed. At the very least though, if they do decide to put players under the control of a different blossoming Jedi, they'll have players interacting with Cal in some capacity.

Though he began as a pretty vanilla cookie-cutter Star Wars protagonist, his layers began to peel back and fans built a relationship with a kid who's just trying to do right by those who sacrificed themselves so that he may live and continue his destiny.
