This comes as probably little surprise to everyone that saw the leak a few days ago, but we’ve got confirmation from Sony on next month’s free PlayStation Plus titles, which all arrive on June 1.

First is Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown, which only just got revealed by Sega yesterday. The game is a remake of the classic 2006/2007 arcade and PS3/Xbox 360-era fighter in Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio's Dragon Engine--the same one that powers Yakuza 6 and Yakuza: Like A Dragon (and probably Judgment 2).

Besides the obvious graphical improvements over the original, Ultimate Showdown will also include new stage music, new animations, a new UI, and a new opening cinematic. It'll also come with built-in esports functionality, including a game mode that can host a round-robin tournament for up to 16 players along with spectator functionality.

Operation: Tango is an asymmetrical co-op with required voice communication between partners. It's a lot like We Were Here, only you play as a spy agent duo. One plays the hacker, the other players the in-the-field agent, and both are tasked with accomplishing the same objective. You'll need to talk things through via the mic to finish your mission.

Finally, there's Star Wars: Squadrons. Originally released last October, the latest Star Wars game sold over 1 million units by December. It's a fun action title with both single-player and multiplayer elements for any Star Wars fan to enjoy. We gave it four stars in our review, praising the genre-defining space action. Since its release, Star Wars: Squadrons has received multiple updates including new space fighters like the B-Wing and Tie Defender.

All three games are available on PlayStation Plus starting on June 1. Virtua Fighter 5 is available until August 2, while Operation: Tango and Star Wars: Squadrons are available until July 5.
