Players using the Epic Games store are in for a treat as Just Cause 4, and Wheels Of Aurelia will be free next week. These two games will replace Close to The Sun and Crimes & Punishment Sherlock Holmes which will be removed from the free list on April 16, 2020, at 11:00 a.m.

Developed by Avalanche Studios and published by Square EnixJust Cause 4 launched on Dec. 4, 2018. Players take control of series protagonist Rico Rodriguez who takes on the world's most powerful army known as the Black Hand as he searches for his father, who may be working with the group. Praised for its sound design, tight controls, and chaotic gameplay, Just Cause 4 did receive criticism for its thin plot and voice acting.

The other title offered is the visual novel Wheels Of Aurelia. Developed and published by Santa Ragione, players jump in the shoes of Lella, a woman living in 1970s Italy. During a time of civil unrest in the country, she's looking to leave the country. The game has a focus on replayability, with Santa Ragione noting the game is about choice and replayability. With gameplay sessions that last around 15 minutes each, players can test out different scenarios by making different decisions as they cruise through the Italian streets, meeting new characters and living through different plot points each time.

The Epic Games Store launched on December 18, 2018. As a major competitor to Steam, the company began offering one free game every week in 2019, and by June that year, they bumped that number to two.
