The latest entry in Ubisoft’s popular dancing game series is set to launch on November 4 on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, Stadia, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.

The game comes with 40 tracks from artists such as Ciara and Imagine Dragons and includes popular modes such as co-op.

However, if you want to bust a move in front of your TV with a console camera sensor, it appears only PS4 and Xbox One owners will have that chance.

In a listing for the game on the Australian JB Hi-Fi website, which contains more information than either the official Ubisoft or Microsoft Store listings, we learn that Just Dance 2022 is compatible with:

• The Joy-Con controllers on Switch

• The PlayStation Camera on PS4

• The Kinect sensor on Xbox One

But not compatible with:

• The HD camera on PS5

• Any camera on Xbox Series X

This could be a little disappointing for gamers with powerful new-gen consoles, but it appears Just Dance 2022 doesn’t support any camera sensors for PS5 or Xbox Series X/S.

Those with Kinect for Xbox One or the PlayStation Camera for PS4 are in luck, however.

Fortunately, the dancing game is confirmed to support Smart Delivery so a single copy of Just Dance 2022 will work on both previous-gen and new-gen Xbox consoles.

Dancing fans can download the Just Dance Controller iOS or Android apps for their phone to use as sensors to play along with Just Dance 2022.

Xbox One S and Xbox One X console owners will need a Kinect adaptor to plug in a Kinect sensor. But no adaptor will work for Xbox Series X/S since Microsoft ended support for the accessory for the current console generation.
