Derek Kolstad, the creator behind the action-packed Keanu Reeves-led John Wick franchise, has recently stated that he has interest in adapting the indie shooter, My Friend Pedro, to television. Not only does he have an interest, but the writer is already actively working on a pitch for the show.

My Friend Pedro tells the story of a man who wakes up to meet a talking banana named Pedro, who then convinces him to go on a violent killing spree. Obviously, the game's plot isn't meant to be taken too seriously, and we're assuming a television show will fall along those same lines.

Given My Friend Pedro's high flying action, it's hard to imagine someone better to helm a television adaptation other than the man behind John Wick. The trilogy's nonstop wide shot violence has been a hit among worldwide audiences, and bringing that flare to a live action Pedro show would likely yield the same result.

In the same interview, Kolstad also mentioned that he's working on a television adaptation for the survival horror game, Bendy And The Ink Machine. Although nothing is official until Kolstad's pitches catch the right interest, it'd be interesting to see an adaptation of either of these games, and we certainly hope things work out for the John Wick creator.
