Kena: Bridge of Spirits' install file size for PlayStation 5 might have just leaked. According to the source, the colorful adventure game will take only 17 GB of your console’s free space without the Day One update.

While the developers from Ember Lab studio have not yet officially announced how much their project will require on console, the information appeared on the PlayStation Game Size Twitter account, spreading across the web.

The listing indicates Kena: Bridge of Spirits will take slightly above 17 GB to download on PS5, while the pre-load will start on September 19. The specified data did not include the Day One patch for the game, which will be available for the players shortly prior to release. Keep in mind that Sony did not officially reveal when the pre-load will start on PS Store.

With such a relatively small file size (if confirmed), it will be possible to install Kena on your console very quickly, even without having to pre-loading it. The listing for PS5 probably means the game will also be about that size on PS4 or will take even less on the last-gen platform. According to Kena’s official product page on the Epic Games Store, the title will weigh at least 25 GB on PC.

Shortly after the announcement, Kena: Bridge of Spirits quickly gathered massive player interest due to its eye-catching visuals, memorable protagonist, and little adorable companions called The Rot. From a gameplay standpoint, Kena is a third-person story-driven action-platformer with an emphasis on puzzle-solving and boss encounters.

Originally planned for release in late 2020, Kena: Bridge of Spirits was later postponed twice to ensure the title reaches the best quality level possible. The charmingly looking game is currently slated to hit PS4, PS5, and PC on September 21. The PC version will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store for a year, meaning if you want to play the game on Steam, you’ll have to wait until at least September 2022. In addition, you can stream Kena via GeForce Now on PC, Mac, Nvidia Shield TV, Android, and iOS.
