Kena: Bridge of Spirits has many things you can do in its enchanting world, allowing you to level Kena by collecting enough Rot and earning Karma. Aside from the main quests, there are also many side quests for Kena to partake in, which will speed up her progress exponentially.
Throughout the game, Kena will have four different weapons at her disposal with upgrades for each, including Rot attacks. So, naturally, there are many upgrades to unlock, which can make things complicated when deciding on which one to grab.
Melee Upgrades
The melee upgrades in Kena: Bridge of Spirits focus on enhancing her Spirit Staff, allowing her to learn new abilities and charge up devastating heavy attacks. Enhancing Kena's melee capabilities requires Karma and, in some cases, a specific Rot Level.

Shield Upgrades
Kena's Spirit Shield is one of the most important tools to utilize in combat scenarios. It allows her to absorb incoming damage or even parry enemy attacks if she deploys it with perfect timing. So, naturally, upgrading Kena's Shield is equally crucial as it will allow you to perform counterattacks after a successful parry or take significantly less damage when hit.

Bow Upgrades
Kena's Spirit Bow is the only long-ranged weapon in Kena: Bridge of Spirits. It allows her to target the enemy's critical spots by slowing time or shooting a piercing arrow straight through their body. Overall, the Spirit Bow does the most damage against flying enemies, but it's more than viable with grounded enemies.

Bomb Upgrades
The Bomb is the last tool Kena will receive in Kena: Bridge of Spirits. The Bomb allows Kena to throw an almost gelatin-like orb at enemies, having it stick to them and eventually detonate. However, with her Spirit Bomb upgrades, Kena can use multiple bombs at once or discharge them much earlier than before.
