What’s the sitch? If you didn’t love Kim Possible growing up, then you’re just wrong about life. (Or you were too young. Yeesh, now I feel old.) This was a classic cartoon that had it all: action, romance, humor, doomsday devices, crazy villains, and the woes of high school. Kim Possible had some pretty awesome animation, fun action sequences and great one-liners that we still quote. And who can’t forget that text tone she uses? (It was my text tone for ages.) If you’re ever having a bad day, just go put on an episode of Kim Possible; I guarantee you’ll feel better.

The series gained a lot of fans over the years, and they haven’t wavered in their adoration for the show. And fans have shown their love for the series in many ways, whether it was creating fanart, making and wearing t-shirts, writing fanfiction, or even making their own comics.

Fan comics are pretty fun because fans will often use them to either point out funny elements in the show, come up with a scenario that would probably happen, and just have fun playing around with the characters. But if you’re not familiar with Kim Possible, a lot of these comics probably wouldn’t make a ton of sense. And that’s what’s so fun about it. You’re in on the joke and you can appreciate these wonderful stories.

So here are 20 Kim Possible comics that only true fans would appreciate. Think we missed a few? Make sure to let us know in the comments section below!

20 What Was Disney Thinking?

Via: photobucket.com (confused_girl)

While it was airing, Kim Possible was probably one of Disney’s most popular animated shows. And who wouldn’t love this show? It was funny, had some great action sequences, had hilariously entertaining characters, and was just an all-around fun show to watch. It’s safe to say that the series had quite a few viewers. So, what did the network decide to do? They canceled it, of course! Well, I guess “canceled” is a strong word. Kim Possible was supposed to be done after the movie Kim Possible: So the Drama. You can imagine the fans’ reaction to this.

This comic covers pretty much every fan’s feelings at the time. Why would such a popular show get canceled? Usually, when a show does well, Disney will milk it for all its worth. The fact that they decided to not do anymore Kim Possible when it wasn’t really slowing down in its popularity is pretty confusing. You feel bad for Kim in this comic because she looks so distraught at the idea that her show is being canceled. And poor Ron is trying to be there for her, but you can tell he’s super upset by it all too. Thankfully, due to fans clamoring, the series did get one final season that did manage to tie things up a bit better than it would’ve been originally. Never underestimate the power of fans.

19 I Could See These Two Being Friends

Via: forums.spacebattles.com

You know, Dr. Drakken and Dr. Doofenshmirtz actually have a lot in common. Both haven’t had the easiest of lives (though we do know way more about Doofenshmirtz’s background than Drakken’s). Both decided to become supervillains and try to take over the world (or the Tri-State Area. Gotta start small). And both have nemeses that constantly foil their plans. If these two ever met, they’d either be the bitterest of rivals or they’d be really good friends. And that’s what this comic decides to have fun with.

Hey, supervillains need to have social lives too.

The idea of Doofenshmirtz and Drakken meeting up occasionally to have tea and complain about their nemeses is a hilarious idea and one that I could see happening. While Drakken is a bit more violent and dangerous than Doofenshmirtz, the two give off this vibe of being a bit harmless. Don’t get me wrong, they are supervillains and make crazy inventions that could be super dangerous (and Drakken has tried to end Kim on multiple occasions), but they also seem like the type of guys that like to get together with friends and trade recipes. Hey, supervillains need to have social lives too. It’s a funny concept that would totally happen. Now, I just want to see Shego and Vanessa meet. They can both complain about their supervillains.

18 I Would Watch This Movie

Via: rufftoon.deviantart.com

It’s fun for fans to imagine how certain characters would be in another movie scenario. When you watch a lot of movies and TV shows, you can’t help but notice similarities between some characters and draw comparisons. And then we can make things extra complicated and have characters play different characters in a different movie. Confused yet? Just remember that we as fans love crossovers, and the idea that some of our favorite characters could be other characters is a fun one to play around with. And that’s what this comic talks about as it draws comparisons between the characters of Kim Possible and Harry Potter. And there are some pretty interesting similarities.

What I like about this comic is that it’s treating the characters of Kim Possible like they’re actors and they’re getting the different parts for Harry Potter. Their reactions are pretty awesome, ranging from “Of course I’m another redhead,” to “Can I be a weremonkey instead of a werewolf?” I also like how Ron is confused that he’s playing a character named Ron. The poor guy’s head is going to explode. Motor Ed as Sirius Black would be absolutely hilarious, and Shego would make a fantastic Bellatrix Lestrange.

17 They Would Totally Be Besties

Via: allonsyblue.tumblr.com

It’s always fun to imagine how your favorite characters from shows and movies would interact with characters from other shows and movies. You’re sure some would be instant friends, while others would probably clash a lot. And since Kim Possible has quite a few memorable characters, it’s not hard to play around with how they would react to characters of other shows. In this case, I would love to see a crossover between Gravity Falls and Kim Possible just because the character interactions would be gold! (Oh man, imagine Grunkle Stan meeting Drakken. Disney, you should really think about doing this).

This comic touches on the crossover a bit, and I think Kim and Mabel probably would be friends. While Mabel is a bit louder and more colorful than Kim, they can at least appreciate each other’s taste in weaponry. After Kim probably got over her initial feeling of “what are these two kids doing fighting off monsters? They’re way too young be doing this,” she’d have a lot of fun with Dipper and Mabel. Oddly enough, I could also see Ron getting along with Mabel super well. She would totally want to make him a sweater, and he would wear it with pride.

16 Kim Mustache You A Question

Via: memecenter.com (novascarlett)

This comic is a funny poke at the animation style for Kim Possible. With any type of animation, you’re bound to get a few funny images and weird stuff happening; it just comes with the territory. Now Kim Possible is a pretty well-animated series, especially for a TV show. With the budget they had, they did a really good series that had quite a bit of awesome action sequences. But one fan discovered a funny element to Kim’s character design that you can’t quite unsee. And that’s Kim’s mustache.

This comic shows a fan discovering that if you look at Kim’s mouth when she’s frowning, it looks more like she has a mustache. And with this image, the line on her chin looks more like a smile, which just adds to this idea that Kim has a droopy mustache. The fan’s reaction is great since it is a weird thing to notice and once you see it, that’s all you can see when you look at the image. But hey, we don’t judge. Kim can have a mustache if she really wants to. You do you, girl. (Though I’m pretty sure Kim would be mortified if she ever did grow a mustache.)

15 Poor Ron Can’t Catch A Break

Via: rinacat.deviantart.com

This comic probably makes sense if you’re familiar with the Kim Possible fandom as well as the show. Like any other fandom, Kim Possible fans have had fun shipping their favorite characters with other characters in the show. Some make sense like Kim and Ron, Drakken and Shego, and even Shego and Motor Ed. But there’s a weird trend where fans tend to ship Ron with everyone. And I mean everyone: Kim, Shego, Drakken, Monkey Fist, Rufus (oh yeah, they went there), and so on. It’s weird and a little funny too. I guess this guy was popular among the fans.

And this comic has fun with Ron’s name and playing around with the fandom term “slash,” which usually means shipping two guy characters together. So, the artist decided that Ron’s last name is now Slashable. It’s a great play on words that’s also a nod to the fandom as well. The comic also has fun with the fact that Drakken can never seem to remember Ron’s name. So, for him to accidentally introduce himself as Ron Slashable is pretty entertaining but only to fans who get the context. It’s definitely a bit of an inside joke, but if you’re in on it, it’s pretty hilarious.

14 You Know This Happened

Via: redauto16.deviantart.com

While Kim’s and Ron’s relationship was finally made canon, there were still a lot of questions about Drakken and Shego’s relationship. While nothing was explicitly said (other than Shego getting a bit jealous when Warmonga took Drakken), there were a lot of hints that something else may have been going on between these two. It probably didn’t help that they both have this kind of bickering domestic couple thing going on. And that’s what this comic is having fun with.

You know for a fact that when they’re not out doing evil or planning the next world domination scheme, Drakken and Shego are probably just relaxing in his lair. (Does Shego live at the lair too? I don’t know if that was ever established, but I’m pretty sure she does). And you can bet that the two would fight over the TV remote constantly. It would probably turn into this type of weird game to see who can get to it first. And you know Shego would go all out. I also love how there’s this bit of tension in the beginning as they see who’s going to make the first move. It’s a funny idea that could totally happen with these two.

13 So That’s Where She Stores Stuff

Via: niban-destikim.deviantart.com

While we can agree that Shego’s outfit is pretty cool (who would’ve thought green and black would go so well together?), it isn’t always the most practical outfit. (Though it’s a lot more practical than most super heroine’s outfits often are, so there’s that.) The problem you usually run into with wearing a skintight outfit is the matter of storage. Where does Shego store things on her person? Where does she carry her money or other stuff? I can’t imagine her being the type of person to not at least have some cash on her at all times, so how does she do it? That’s what this comic answers.

I think we forget that Shego does have a random pouch attached to her shin. It’s pretty small so it’s easy to look over, and we never see her take anything out of it. But this comic takes the idea that she uses it for a purse and runs with it. Drakken’s reaction, in particular, is pretty funny because apparently, he was at a loss for how Shego kept money on her person too. The fact that he’s so gleeful about solving this “mystery” is pretty funny. Also, the implication that these two are out on a date is a fun one and is always nice for those fans that ship Shego and Drakken.

12 Haters Gonna Hate

Via: aleccha.deviantart.com

As cute as we think Kim and Ron are as a couple, we have to admit they aren’t the most conventional of couples. Mostly in that, they are pretty different. Kim is the popular cheerleader girl who’s quite beautiful and successful. Ron is the goofy kid who never really grew up, and most people would agree that he’s not as conventionally attractive as Kim is. While it seems like a lot of people supported these two lovebirds getting together, I can imagine there were others who thought they were crazy. And this comic covers that in a sad, but also sweet manner.

These two probably were the subject of some nasty gossip.

I like the fact that we get a rare glimpse into Ron being serious. In this moment, he knows Kim is feeling bad about the gossip they overheard. But he comforts Kim and then turns things around by cracking a joke, teasing Kim about her unusual preference in ice cream flavors. The comic is both sweet and a bit sobering for fans because it reminds us that these two probably were the subject of some nasty gossip. And yet, they didn’t let it get to them. What mattered to Kim and Ron was how they felt about each other. And if they thought they were a good match for each other, then who cares what anyone else thought?

11 Sadly, This Isn’t His Worst Plan

Via: rinacat.deviantart.com

We know that Drakken has had some pretty crazy schemes for trying to take over the world. From brainwashing shampoo to creating an army of robot toys, Drakken has had some seriously wild ideas. And Shego is usually there to offer some sort of critique and sarcasm in response to his plans. To be honest, it’s kind of amazing she’s worked for him as long as she has (maybe there really is something else going on between these two). But this comic shows that even people like Shego can have their limits.

What’s great about this comic is that the idea of Drakken coming up with cheerleader henchman is something you could see happening in an episode. And you know Drakken would be trying to one-up Kim at something like this. It’s a hilarious concept and I’m kind of sad this isn’t actually canon. Shego’s reaction is even better because she’s at a loss for words for once. All she can do is stumble away in disbelief and hope that Drakken doesn’t decide she needs to be a cheerleader too. (I can’t imagine she’d go for a cheerleading outfit. She’d probably threaten Drakken within an inch of his life if he even suggested something like that).

10 What’s In A Name?

Via: kinswaous.deviantart.com

A lot of villains have some pretty interesting names. I guess when you’re out doing villainy, you need to be remembered. And in Kim Possible we have quite a few unique villain names, such as Monkey Fist, DNAmy, Motor Ed, and Drakken. But Drakken’s name is a little unusual since it’s not quite as obvious as the other villains’ names. The others’ names describe a bit of their power or their motivation. But Drakken is just Drakken. And that’s what this comic likes to point out.

I love the idea of Drakken and Heinz Doofenshmirtz interacting and I can imagine that Doofenshmirtz would be curious about Drakken’s name. And I could see Drakken getting all defensive about it. The comic does also point out that Doofenshmirtz didn’t even need a villain name; his own name is pretty memorable. In this comic, Drakken had picked out his name simply because he thought it was cool. And you know what? That sounds about right for Drakken. He often doesn’t need a big reason to do something; he just does it. But I still want to know more about Drakken’s backstory. How did he turn blue? And where did that scar under his eye come from? (Doofenshmirtz probably asked him those questions too.)

9 Kim, You Have No Right To Judge

Via: the-knack-to-flying.tumblr.com

Have you noticed that in most cartoons, the heroes have some pretty interesting tools and weapons? And Kim Possible is no exception. The girl has quite a few interesting gadgets and they’re all designed to look like everyday things a teenage girl may use. There’s the knockout gas that looks like lip gloss, the laser lipstick, and let’s not forget her grappling hook gun that looks like a hairdryer. Though I’m not sure why they have to look all stealthy since Kim isn’t exactly keeping her hero persona a secret. I guess it’s more convenient for her, but they could be dangerous. Imagine if she forgot and tried to use the laser lipstick on her face. (You know I think Ron did accidentally do something like that.)

So, this comic points out that Kim has no right to judge other cartoons for their weird tools. Although I have to admit, a thermos that sucks up ghosts is definitely out there, but I do like that Danny fires back at Kim’s own oddly designed tools. Plus, I really would love to see a crossover between Kim Possible and Danny Phantom. These characters would be so interesting together and I can imagine all the banter happening would be fantastic.

8 I Understood That Reference

Via: knowyourmeme.com (goofmorethefirst)

This comic is funny on its own, but when you get the Treasure Planet reference, it becomes even funnier. But we all know that Ron is the one who’s a bit less confident with himself in his and Kim’s relationship. I think for him, the idea that Kim could find him attractive was a bit crazy and a little out there. So, Kim saying something like him having beautiful eyes probably would make him panic and say she’s lost it. C’mon Ron, give yourself some more credit; Kim totally finds you attractive.

Kim saying something like him having beautiful eyes probably would make him panic and say she’s lost it.

I also just love that this whole scene is a great reference to another pretty hilarious scene in Treasure Planet, where Dr. Doppler is trying to get information from an injured and woozy Captain Amelia, who then states that Doppler has wonderful eyes. Of course, he thinks she’s completely lost it because, in his mind, there’s no way she could ever find him attractive, considering the two have been fighting nonstop the whole voyage. And the fact that these two get together in the end just makes this whole scene both hilarious and very cute. This little knowledge adds an extra layer of hilarity and sweetness to this comic.

7 Gotta Catch ‘Em All?

Via: pinterest.com (Roxy Grace)

You know, there are quite a few similarities between Drakken and Jesse and James from Pokemon. (Shego is quite a bit more competent than the two, but eh.) Both villain teams are a constant nuisance to our heroes. Both have these complicated and crazy plans that often almost work but are thwarted at the last second. And the two teams even bicker like an old married couple. (The amount of people that ship Jesse and James is astonishing but understandable.)

I like how the comic plays around with this kind of crossover, having Drakken and Shego wanting to capture Rufus, just like how Jesse and James were always trying to capture Pikachu. And I love the design of Team Rocket’s outfits on the two. Shego looks fabulous as always, and Drakken doesn’t look too bad. Although, I’m sorry, Drakken can never be as suave as James. (Both of them can be pretty dorky at times though, so there’s that.) Shego and Jesse have the right amount of snark to them; I can imagine the two getting together to complain about their insane boyfriends. James and Drakken would probably go off on some crazy adventure and get into all kinds of trouble.

6 Whoa, Ron!

Via: callmepo.deviantart.com

It’s been a known fact that Ron is a pretty skinny dude. He doesn’t have a lot going for him in the muscle department, and he’s not particularly motivated to work out anytime soon. Though considering all of the adventures he goes on with Kim, he’s probably pretty fit (they do a surprising amount of running and climbing). While he may not have a lot of muscle, what he does have would probably be pretty toned. But what if Ron was secretly super buff? And Kim is the one to find out? Well, that’s what this comic is about. And it’s hilarious.

I’m not sure if Kim would go about spilling drinks on Ron just to see him without a shirt, but it’s a pretty funny idea. If she were the only one who found out, she definitely would keep the secret to herself. After all, can you imagine the girls that would be all over Ron if they knew the truth? Besides, I don’t think anyone else would believe her. I don’t think Ron is secretly that ripped because there’s no way we would’ve have seen that kind of muscle on him, but it’s still pretty hilarious. And Kim’s reaction is pretty great. I don’t blame you, Kim.

5 The Resemblance Is Uncanny

Via: tsaalyo.deviantart.com

With all the awesome cartoons out there, there are bound to be some characters that have quite a few things in common. Whether a couple of characters may look alike, have similar personalities, or have a common backstory, it’s going to happen. Now when you come across these types of characters, you can just chalk it up to coincidence, or you can have a little fun with it. And that’s what this comic artist did when they noticed some uncanny similarities between Shego and Desiree from Danny Phantom.

The fact that Drakken acknowledges that Shego is usually angry at him most of the time is funny and pretty accurate.

If you look at them, Shego and Desiree do look a lot alike. They’ve both got long black hair, green skin, and the same body types. And they’re both pretty snarky, though they have very different backstories. I love Shego’s reaction to finding Desiree since she’s convinced Drakken has cloned her (despite the fact that its canon she absolutely refuses to be cloned). And the interaction between Desiree and Drakken is seriously funny. They’re both a little freaked out by Shego’s temper and they commiserate together. The fact that Drakken acknowledges that Shego is usually angry at him most of the time is funny and pretty accurate. You may want to be nicer to Shego from now on, man.

Comic by Tsaalyo.

4 We’ve Got You Figured Out, Shego

Via: rinacat.deviantart.com

Like many popular shows, Kim Possible had a lot of fan pairings and one popular one is Kim and Shego. And if you think about it, there are a few things that support this pairing. For example, look at Shego’s interactions with Kim. Throughout the series, these two probably fight the most, and Shego’s the one who starts attacking Kim and Kim fights back. But what’s also rather interesting is the banter back and forth between these two. While it could be the usual banter between a hero and a villain, it sometimes feels a bit... flirty. Plus, there’s the fact that Shego often calls Kim pet names, like “Kimmie” and “Princess.” It wouldn’t be strange for a fan to think that there may be something going on.

And that’s what this comic decides to address. Ron basically calls Shego out on her flirty behavior and Shego confirms she had a thing for Kim. The whole thing is kind of funny, kind of sad, and even kind of sweet. Poor Shego has been found out, Ron is surprisingly right about something, and both Drakken and Kim are super confused. I wonder what it would be like if these two did date? Shego would probably have to go back to the good side since I can’t see Kim being cool with dating a villain.

Comic by Rinacat.

3 Ron, I Am Your Father

Via: goddesstears.deviantart.com

You can bet that if Star Wars exists in the Kim Possible universe, Ron would be a fan. (So would Wade for that matter.) And he would totally want to play Star Wars and run around in Jedi robes and lightsabers. I don’t know if Kim would necessarily be into it (she’s mentioned in the past how the sci-fi genre isn’t really her thing), but she’d probably watch the movies with Ron to humor him. I think she would draw the line at dressing up though. But I could see Ron roping anybody he can find into dressing up as Star Wars characters and having fun. And I mean anybody.

What’s so great about this comic is everyone’s demeanor. Kim is totally done with all things Star Wars, but she’s not surprised Ron and Monkey Fist are into this. Monkey Fist is a bit confused, and Ron is just having the time of his life. I could really imagine Ron and some other villains finding out they all like Star Wars, so they sometimes get together to reenact famous scenes and just geek out about it. I wouldn’t be surprised if Drakken loved Star Wars; that seems like something he’d enjoy. And Shego would probably get roped into all of this as well.

2 You Really Shouldn’t Make Vlad Mad

Via: ghost-chicky.tumblr.com

A crossover between Danny Phantom and Kim Possible would be amazing. Having Kim and Ron have to deal with ghosts would be very interesting. I’d also like to see how Danny and Kim would get along. While they both have similar roles, they also have pretty different personalities. Kim is more of a go-getter and Danny kind of has that “why me?” attitude going on. (I could see Tucker and Wade being total best friends as they bond over technology.) Poor Ron would definitely be freaked out by all the ghosts.

I’m surprised he hasn’t blasted them into oblivion yet.

But just think about how all the villains and ghosts would interact. Oh man, it would be comedy gold. And that’s what this comic is having fun with. Can you just imagine Vlad having to put up with Drakken and Motor Ed? Vlad is this very sophisticated kind of guy, so having him deal with Drakken, (who’s pretty rough and blunt) and Motor Ed (who’s even rougher) would be hilarious. And the fact that neither of them have any boundaries would just make Vlad even more frustrated. I love how in this comic, Vlad is just 100% done with these two. I’m surprised he hasn’t blasted them into oblivion yet.

1 He’s Always Been There

Via: lionheartcartoon.deviantart.com

At first glance, Ron does seem like the buffoonish sidekick that’s generally useless. And to a degree, that’s kind of true. Ron doesn’t have a lot of skills that are helpful in the saving the world business. Usually, Kim’s the one who saves the day by defeating Drakken and destroying whatever doomsday device he built that time. But that doesn’t mean Ron doesn’t help. While we haven’t exactly figured out why, Kim does much better at saving the world when Ron is with her. This is proved in the movie Kim Possible: A Sitch in Time when the two are separated and Kim has a harder time fighting evil without her sidekick.

Say what you will about Ron; he will protect his girl with everything he’s got.

And this comic touches on the fact that while Ron may not be as skilled as Kim, he’s still looking out for her and he shouldn’t be underestimated. Whenever Kim actually is in danger, Ron will do whatever it takes to help her out. And he’s pretty successful. This image of Ron supporting an injured Kim is incredibly cute, and the fans know that he would do something like this without hesitation if she ever did get hurt. Say what you will about Ron; he will protect his girl with everything he’s got.
