One important question that every Kingdom Come Deliverance player wonders is whether to use the best overall horse or a horse with one high stat that's higher than every other mount.

This comes down to personal preference, since if you need carry weight, you may want the horse with the highest carrying capacity. But if you want to get to your destination quickly, then you may want the fastest horse available. However, if you don't have any particularly favorite stats, then you should buy a well-balanced horse because it will be more useful in the long run. Horses can't die, although they can be temporarily brought down to low health, which causes them to rest to restore their health, so you don't have to worry about an HP stat.

Shadowmere is more than an Easter Egg, though, because it has some of the highest horse stats in Kingdom Come Deliverance. Specifically, Shadowmere is a great option if you want a well-balanced horse, and it's an even better option for you if you want a mount with high speed or stamina. • Stamina: 410

Kanthaka is one of the strongest steeds in Kingdom Come Deliverance because it has a large courage level that comes in at 20. Horses with a courage level of 20 aren't common, so Kanthaka is a fantastic option if you find yourself in combat a lot.

Kanthaka doesn't excel in any other stats as well as it does with courage. However, it's stamina is still very high compared to most mounts, and it's a quick horse. You'll have to pay 2130 gold to purchase Kanthaka, which is a lot for a horse, but it's worthwhile if you run into enemies a lot while riding your mount.

You can move quickly and for a long time while riding Podagros since its speed stat stands at 39 and its stamina stat at 410.

For only 1610 gold, you can't beat the value that you'll get by acquiring Podagros as your horse. However, it's important to keep its courage level in mind while riding it since it's very low.

You also don't have to worry about it's courage level because it's one of this horse's better stats at 15. Pegasus only costs 1750 to buy, which is another reason why you should purchase this horse.
