Prepare to recap Sora's third mainline adventure as Kingdom Hearts 3 will finally be getting its first manga volume in North America on November 17th, 2020.

Fans can now pre-order the book at Barnes & Noble and Books-A-Million. Unfortunately, the Amazon listing has been taken down. Here's the cover art of the Japanese version to give you a feel of what it will look like:

The adaptation comes almost 2 years after the game's initial release in January 2019, and the Japanese received the first volume back in April. Currently listed at $13.00, the book will be 144 pages long and covers Chapters 0-8 of the ongoing manga.

KHInsider and KH13 published the news on Monday. Shiro Amano once again returns with her unique cartoon-like take on the Kingdom Hearts series. It makes you wonder how Woody & Buzz will look in Amano's hand-drawn look.

For those who are not in the know, there have been manga adaptations of the Kingdom Hearts games for years. It started with the original all the way up to the 3DS title Dream Drop Distance. There's even been a full-size A4 artbook of Amano's work on the series that looks stunning first-hand.

The next title Amano might have her hands on is Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, which will release sometime this year for PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch. Unlike previous titles, Melody of Memory will be a rhythm-action game, but in true KH fashion, it will be canon to the story. Melody of Memory will have over 140 tracks in the game, and for the first time in series history—if you don't count the mobile games—will feature online multiplayer.

Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road also released this year. It follows the tale of Xehanort and his friends while they were training to become keyblade wielders....and how he became a seeker of darkness.

Kingdom Hearts 3 had critical acclaim across the board, but the original ending left fans scratching their heads as Xehanort seemed to back out too easily. The DLC that released a year later, Re:Mind, made the story feel more conclusive. It also featured the difficulty diehard fans craved with its Data Battles of prior villains that Sora encountered, as well as a secret boss.
