One of the biggest problems that most Kingdom Hearts fans have with the third major entry in the series is its lack of Drive Forms, a very popular feature in Kingdom Hearts 2. Although Keyblade Transformations were added to the game to perform a similar function, many fans just want the originals back.

This has led to some of the Drive Forms being modded into Kingdom Hearts 3 already, such as Valor Form. Thanks to NexusMods modder Flarigrar, we can now add Sora's most underrated Drive Form to that list - Master Form.

Kingdom Hearts 2 fans will know that Master Form is typically the third Drive Form unlocked by the player and is essentially the combination of Valor and Wisdom, taking both Donald and Goofy from the party and leaving Sora on his own. The form is perhaps best known for giving Sora two Keyblades and the ability to flip in mid-air.

Flarigrar shared their Master Form mod on NexusMods earlier this month, where it has quickly shot up to be one of the more popular mods in recent memory. The mod itself replaces Sora's Second Form S, the Second Form variant that comes with Starlight instead of the Kingdom Key. Thanks to a video posted by Flarigrar, we can see for ourselves how accurately the mod replicates Master Form.

Along with giving Sora his iconic Master Form costume, it also replicates his running animation where he spins one Keyblade in the air in front of him while holding the other in his hand. Even more impressive is that it actually replicates the combos that Master Form had, including lots of flips and spins and, best of all, the Disaster finisher that has Sora spinning around in a circle of light and ending with an explosion.

Flarigrar notes that magic hasn't been changed for the form and remains as it is in the base game. This is apparently subject to change as the mod isn't quite finished yet and may have some improvements further down the line. Still, at least it also gives Sora his aerial dodge ability when in Master Form.
