Hikaru Utada, the singer/songwriter for all of Kingdom Hearts’ theme songs, is pretty much all of us after finally learning the outcome of the US election.

There’s little doubt that 2020 has been a phenomenally bad year. Fires have enveloped half of California and Australia, Asian murder hornets have invaded the Pacific Northwest, and to top it all off, there’s a global pandemic that’s upended the entire global economy and delayed quite a few games too.

But there’s one thing that has been making 2020 so much worse. We’re not going to speak his name since doing so performs a Beetle Juice-style summoning ritual, but suffice to say, he’s not a nice guy. From lying about the coronavirus pandemic from day one to encouraging his followers to come armed to polling stations to tacitly approving of white supremacy, he’s ramped up 2020's anxiety levels to near-apocalyptic.

So it came as quite a bit of relief when the Associated Press called the US election for Joe Biden yesterday at 11:28 AM, EST. All other major US media outlets soon followed suit after it became clear that there was no other possible outcome once Pennsylvania had flipped blue.

And we think Hikaru Utada said it best after she found out the results.

Amen, sister. Amen.
