After nearly a decade of waiting, the long-awaited Kingdom Under Fire II will finally be released for PC in the West next month on November 14, 2019.
For those who don't remember the initial release from 2008, Kingdom Under Fire II is a video game published by Blueside. When the game was released in Asia, fans hoped the game would make its way to the West. However, within the first two years of release, complications within the company led people to believe that any hope for a release outside of Asia had disappeared. There was news that game development was halted up until this summer when a trailer for the forgotten game dropped. Now, it appears the game finally has an official release date as well.
Kingdom Under Fire II is a unique MMORTS - or multiplayer online action real-time strategy game - that takes place in the fantasy world of Bersia. Players chose a hero from five different classes - Gunslinger, Spellsword, Berserker, Ranger, and Elementalist - and prepare for a journey that will rewrite the course of history. No matter their selection, the hero will be able to command several different troops at once while engaging in epic battles. The plot explores the internal conflict between the land's three major factions - The Human Alliance, The Dark Legion, and The Encoblossians - as they fight for control over the continent of Bersia.
The game is the latest title in the Kingdom Under Fire series, following the events of preceding game Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom, which was released back in 2008 in the West.
Fans who are eager to try out this highly anticipated game or are just curious to see what kind of developments went into a game with over a ten-year waiting period, can pre-order the game through newly announced publisher Gameforge's website. The game is offered in three different packages, each with differing price points and features, including costumes, troop benefits, starting currency, and resurrection tickets. The Hero Package runs at $29.99, the popular Emperor Package runs at $49.99, and the hefty War God Package runs at $99.99.
Kingdom Under Fire II will be released in Europe and North America on November 12, 2019, for PC.
