S PATCHING Those of you who have been desperate to see what Kirby looks like without his shoes on and use him in gameplay, look no further than right here.

Super Smash Bros. fans currently have their sights firmly set on December 7th, 2018. That's because, on that momentous day, the next chapter of the incredibly popular video game series is coming to the Nintendo Switch: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Judging by what we already know about the game, it might very well be the biggest and best installment yet.

However, for just a brief moment, we want to bring your attention back to the Super Smash Bros. game that is currently the most recent, for the next month anyway, the edition of the game on the Wii U. Players are still pretty enamored with the game as modder Lucky Jero has recently created and added a new skin to it.

Fair warning, it's pretty disturbing. The skin is for Kirby and simply features the lovable Nintendo character without shoes on. As you can see below, Kirby with human feet makes him instantly a lot less cute and lovable. If you can bear to look at Kirby without his little red shoes on and want the skin for yourself, you can go about doing that by clicking on the video below.

The question as to what the hell is going on with Kirby's feet has actually been one that gamers have been discussing since early 2017. No one really seemed to know whether Kirby had red shoes on or if those were merely his bare feet. Marie Blue decided to take matters into her own hands. Blue drew up some sketches of Kirby with bare human feet, and thus the creepy theory began.

There are some things in games and movies and just general fiction that don't need answering. Like what do Mickey Mouse's hands look like, or why do The Hulk's trousers not tear apart when he transforms? Those things along with what's the deal with Kirby's feet are questions which are best left unanswered. Sadly, some gamers just couldn't let it lie, and now we have the above images burned into our brains forever.
