It's no secret that Hideo Kojima loves to keep his cards close to his chest when it comes to projects he is working on, being well-known for his cryptic tweets and ominous marketing strategies that keep fans guessing. However, a recent studio visit from a certain director may hint at his involvement in one of Kojima’s future games.Earlier this week, RRR director S.S. Rajamouli visited Japan to promote the opening of his film in the country. While there, he made a quick trip to the Kojima Productions Studio. During his visit to the studio, Rajamouli was scanned and had his entire appearance digitized for easy reproduction within a game. You know, casual things you do with all your visitors.Related: Konami Will Never Recapture The Magic of P.T.As the images of the filmmaker getting scanned circulated the Internet, fans began to speculate that he might be showing up in Kojima’s next project. After all, Kojima has made it no secret how much he loves Rajamouli’s film. In fact, he tweeted out his love for RRR and dubbed Rajamouli a “creator-god”.

Plus, Kojima is no stranger to putting his favorite actors, directors, and creators into his games. For instance, Death Stranding featured a slew of movie stars and filmmakers like Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Lea Seydoux, and Guillermo Del Toro. At this point, it seems Kojima is in the business of making games just to meet his favorite creators.

While it would make sense for Rajamouli to pop up in a forthcoming Kojima Studio project, given Kojima’s love for the creator, that may not end up being the case. It seems that any visitor to Kojima Production Studio is getting the old full-scan treatment. Last month, Ghost in the Shell director Mamoru Oshii visited the studio and received what Kojima called the “customary 3D scan”. Only time will tell if the action-loving director will be immortalized in a Kojima production.
