Succeeding in the dungeons of Labyrinth Of Galleria: The Moon Society requires your teams to be made up of the ideal characters. If you want them to work efficiently and get you through the labyrinth's floors, you’ll want to know how to create a good character. Since the game has multiple parameters for you to select while creating a party member, you’ll want to know how they impact you.
Instead of hoping for the best and choosing random selections in this JRPG, you should remember some crucial tips. Doing so will help you craft your characters, maximize their strengths, and result in a powerful party to fight any monsters or bosses you come across.
Choosing A Class
Since you can choose party members based on what works for your team, you’ll have six classes to choose from at the start. When you first make the team, you'll be required to create three party members, so start with a damage-per-second (DPS) character, a tank, and a healer while you go through the classes available.
Class |
Their Best Roles |
---|---|
Wonder Corsair |
A jack-of-all-trades class, so they'll work in any role. They work great for flexible teams. |
Shinomashira |
Excels at DPS, but doesn't have great tank or support abilities. |
Theatrical Star |
A support with passive healing, but they also deal decent damage while using bells. |
Aster Crow |
A decent tank, though they can also deal damage, making them a hybrid between the two. |
Peer Fortress |
A strong tank with taunts, forcing enemies to attack them to keep their teammates safe. |
Rapid Venator |
A DPS character, though their good DP means they can help with support if you give them the right abilities. |
You can't make new characters whenever you want. You must have Puppet Parts and a Viol to make them, items you'll have to find in dungeons or by making progress.
Choosing A Nature
As you look through characters, you can choose their nature, which impacts their stat growth. This lets let you know how much they increase per level — the higher the percentage, the more your stats grow.
The Stat |
What It Does |
---|---|
Strength |
Increases your attack power, making your attacks deal more damage. |
Constitution |
Increases your HP and Defense, allowing you to survive longer against physical attacks. |
Donum Strength |
Increases your DP and your Donum damage. That means you'll get to use more abilities while having your abilities deal more damage. |
Agility |
Increases your character's speed, which makes you act faster in combat while also increasing your evasion odds. |
Dexterity |
Increases your odds of landing an attack while boosting your critical chance, letting you deal more damage to enemies. |
Charm |
Lowers your aggro, so enemies prioritize your characters over the one with the higher Charm stat. However, they can still get targeted. |
You'll get to choose up to two natures to adjust your stats. However, you have three points to consider as you look through them.
- You can choose one nature, then select another by choosing most of the connectors.
- After you pick a nature, you can pick None to make the nature your only augment.
- You can choose the Very connector to increase those augments further.
Most of the time, you'll want to pick two natures, focusing on the ones you care about or balancing them to make your character a jack of all trades. Try these recommended options if you don't know which ones to pick.
Class |
Natures |
Why They Work |
---|---|---|
Aster Crow |
|
These natures increase the Aster Crow's damage and sometimes defense, while causing them to get attacked more as an off-tank. |
Shinomashira |
|
These natures add to your damage, allowing you to maximize your hits and eliminate enemies. |
Theatrical Star |
|
You'll increase your defensive stats while boosting your Charm to minimize attack attempts. |
Peer Fortress |
|
None of these natures sacrifice your HP, while they do boost your Constitution and DMP — the most important stats for a tank. |
Wonder Corsair |
Any of the recommended natures based on what you need. |
The Wonder Corsair works as your role-filler in the game, so they'll work with whichever natures help fill that role. |
Rapid Venator |
|
These all boost Strength and DMP, which are the most important stats for a mixed-damage class. |
Preferred Stat Growth And Stance
Once you decide on your nature, you can adjust your stats through your Stat Growths and Stances. Stat Growth affects which stats increase at different rates, while Stances give boosts to specific stats.
Preferred Stat Growth |
What It Does |
When To Pick It |
---|---|---|
Natural |
Your class gets its standard stat growths, so the stats will increase at the expected rates. |
If you feel good about the current growths and don't want to change them. |
Sharp |
Your class emphasizes its strengths while ignoring its weaknesses, helping them to specialize in specific areas. |
If you want a specialist who does one thing well, such as fighting enemies, casting spells, or tanking. |
Flat |
Your class has fewer growths in its strengths while improving its weaknesses, leading to balanced stats. |
If you need someone who can adapt and remain versatile with the other specialists on the team. |
Stance Type |
What It Does |
When To Pick It |
---|---|---|
Standard |
Doesn't change your strengths and weaknesses, keeping your character the same. |
If you feel you have made enough adjustments through natures and stat growths. This also works great for balanced characters. |
Sun |
Increases your HP and Defense but lowers your DMP and boosts your aggro. |
You'll want to use this one for your tank characters. |
Moon |
Increases your Strength, DMP, and weapon proficiency but lowers your constitution and luck. |
This stance works great for any damage dealer, so go with it if you want to make your characters hit harder but don't mind sacrificing defensive stats. |
Skill Selection
You also get to go through the various skills available and choose which ones you want your characters to have. They get two by default and a list of additional skills, allowing you to pick the one you want to maximize the starting classes.
