As you play through Labyrinth Of Galleria: The Moon Society, you’ll spend most of your time in the dungeon. You must explore the many floors of this NIS game if you want to succeed. While it may seem intimidating, you have multiple tips to keep in mind, so you'll know how to find the Curios.

Explore Every Inch Of The Dungeon
While you may feel tempted to get through each floor of the dungeon as quickly as possible, you should explore every nook and cranny for multiple reasons:
- You'll fight more enemies and level up, ensuring you're not under-leveled.
- You'll discover treasure chests, giving you valuable items and new equipment to strengthen your party.
- You'll come across more Mana, allowing you to farm them.
- You'll find doors you can't access without a button, or even areas necessary for reaching the next floor.
- Uncover the map so that you can quickly reference, check, and navigate the floor.
- Ensure you don't miss anything.
Dungeon crawlers emphasize the importance of exploring floors and doing so thoroughly. You'll find the game significantly more manageable if you don't rush through the floors or try to beat it as quickly as possible. You'll also make puzzles easier as you gain a deeper understanding of each floor, uncovering clues.
However, you shouldn't spend too much time on a single floor. If you collect too much Mana past the floor's limit, you'll start to face strong monsters. They can quickly wipe out your team since they'll be at significantly higher levels than the other monsters on the floor.
You should also keep your characters in top condition while you go through the dungeon. If anyone runs low on health or loses limbs, you should return to the surface and heal everyone.
Also, do your best to grow your party, so you'll have a strong team able to easily fight off enemies.
The floors stay the same every time you return to the dungeon. This means that it'll always stay the same once you fill in the map. This lets you quickly learn the fastest paths to different floors and out of the dungeons.
Follow The Wall
You may feel intimidated by the sheer size of floors as you explore more. Since you don't want to run around aimlessly, you should use the wall technique.
Choose either the left or right wall as soon as you enter the dungeon and follow the edge of the wall. Doing so will uncover the perimeter of the dungeon. While this might not be the most efficient way to explore, it'll help you get a feel for the map's size.
However, you should remember that the dungeons have multiple staircases on each floor, meaning you'll reach different areas depending on how you approach the dungeon. Some may only give you access to one-half of the floor, while other staircases lead to additional sections. You can use the wall strategy again to check any new areas and see what they offer.
You should also try to break down walls if you suspect you'll find another area. It only costs three Reinforce, making it worthwhile since you'll have plenty left for the rest of the dungeon run.
Approaching Enemies On The Map
As you come across enemies on the map, you'll want to position yourself correctly to gain the advantage in battle. This requires you to approach them from the sides or back, allowing you to get in a round of turns before the enemy can do anything.
You'll notice that enemy symbols have two stages on the map.
- Green means they're wandering and haven't found you yet. You can get the advantage in that state.
- Red means they see you and plan to chase you. You can't get the advantage against the monster since they know you're attacking.
While you can't guarantee you'll get green every time, it's worth trying to approach enemies from behind, before they notice you, to increase your odds of getting that effect.
Enemies can do the same to you, so don't let them approach you from the sides or behind. You should avoid any purple enemies you come across since they'll be significantly stronger.
Navigating The Dungeon
As you go through each floor, you'll run into various situations, so you'll want to know how to navigate them and survive.
- Take advantage of jumping to hop a square and reach new areas. You can only jump a square, so don't try to jump if it's further, or you may fall.
- Use the wall breaker ability to reach areas early. While most walls will lead to empty areas, some may reveal hidden hallways. You can only use it until your Reinforce runs out, so keep an eye on it in the top-left corner.
- Look for and activate every switch you come across to unlock new doors. When you activate the switch, the mini-map will send a wave, letting you know the door's location.
- Fall into holes as a last resort. You can go down holes if you can't progress in the dungeon. Don't go off cliffs, but hole traps in the dungeon since you'll usually fall a single level. You'll also take damage from the fall, so act carefully.
You'll find other navigation tools as you play through the game, so visit the Witch's Petition whenever you word "new" appears next to it. That way, you may have a new tool to help you in dungeons.
You can open your map and look for nearby events whenever you reach a new floor. Whether you see green, blue, or red events, you should find a way to them. They indicate essential locations and bring you to new areas, making them crucial points during your journey.
Get Abilities To Help You Explore
After a few visits to the dungeon and getting your first Curios, you'll gain access to the Note ability if you purchase it from the Witch's Petition. You can use two versions of it, though you need to buy the first version to use the second one.
- The game automatically takes notes when you come across interesting points.
- You can add custom notes to the dungeon to keep track of details.
The automated versions will keep track of essential squares, such as areas you can't access yet, so you'll know to stop by later once you have the proper equipment. You can also upgrade to custom notes, so while the game adds the standard ones, you can create them to keep track of details and even make notes of essential locations you want to visit later after you tackle your quest.
You can also get the ability to sense treasures on the floor, letting you know where to find them. Not only will it save you time looking, but you'll have an easier time navigating the floor since you can use the chest locations to find more hallways and rooms.
Ultimately, you'll want to check the Witch's Petition every time you complete a quest. You can keep track of the new abilities and see which ones help you with your dungeon exploration. For example, if you find the combat gets in the way of your exploring, you can use Mana to make the game easier.
