Ensure you read through a guide to see what you can do to prepare. As you put in the effort and learn how to utilize your turns in battle, you’ll fight the Meat Soldier, slay it, and continue to the next room to talk with Garten.

Preparation

The ninth floor of Apse with various locations, including treasure chests, in Labyrinth Of Galleria: The Moon Society.

To win the fight, you must prepare your party to succeed. First, you should aim to have your characters at level 50 or higher. The higher stats will help, but the fight will still be challenging, so if you struggle with it, aim for an even higher level to make it significantly easier.

Classes And Pacts

Multiple pacts are being selected to prepare for an upcoming battle in Labyrinth Of Galleria: The Moon Society.

As you prepare for the battle, you must plan which classes and pacts you want to be assigned to your party, so try this setup if you need some help.

Pact Name

Pact Members

Why You Should Use This Pact

Witch Squad

Peer Fortress and Aster Crow

Your Witch Squad Pact will act as your tank. You have the Vanguard and Rearguard Heal abilities to heal anyone, and you can also utilize Gatekeeper's Proof on the Peer Fortress to draw more aggro.

Nachiroux's Pact

Theatrical Star and Famyu Seeker

You won't use the Secret Crest, but it has solid support abilities to help the party. You can use Coven Heal to quickly assist a Pact low on health, Rapid Boost to make your party act first, and Battle Cheer Dance to empower the Black Paper Pact.

Black Paper

Wonder Corsair, Shinomashira, and Gothic Coppelia

You'll use them as your primary damage dealers. Heart of Wisdom can keep them alive while they attack the boss. Their Secret Crest can also deal solid damage, though you'll need the Witch Squad to draw aggro for it to work.

Disease

Magia Maid

You want this Pact to focus on damage. First, the Support II Secret Crest can make a big difference. It'll let you revive and heal teammates. Lamp Fog II does good damage, and Hardening can be used on the Vanguard.

Gossip

Aster Crow, Shinomashira, and Theatrical Star or Famyu Seeker

This pact offers plenty of healing and support to the party. Although you won't use the Secret Crest, the other Donums make it a solid choice. For example, Block Physical can keep people alive, while Delicious Gossip can keep the party alive.

Feel free to adjust these pacts based on your preferences and play styles, though this setup works as a balanced choice to get through the fight.

Prepare Your Equipment

The synthesis menu with the option to enchant equipment and strengthen it in Labyrinth Of Galleria: The Moon Society.

Your equipment will make a considerable difference in this fight. You can get better equipment by finding it in the dungeon or using alchemy to strengthen it.

You can keep things simple by selecting Optimize Equipment for all your party members to equip the best items available quickly. From there, you can use the leftover items to strengthen your current equipment. For example, you should add attack and damage buffs to your damage dealers while focusing on the defense of your tanks and supports.

Dealing With The Stun Meter

The party prepares to defend against the Meat Soldier to survive an attack in Labyrinth Of Galleria: The Moon Society.

When you fought with other bosses in this game, you'll notice the stun meter drops and eventually prevents the enemy from attacking. Doing so benefits your team in multiple ways.

  • Prevents the enemy from performing a powerful attack or defending.
  • Holds off the enemy for an additional turn, allowing your teammates to survive and heal.
  • You get a free hit on the enemy.

However, the Meat Soldier has significantly high stun resistance, meaning you won't be able to stop it from attacking. With that in mind, you shouldn't rely on stunning moves but focus on damage and lowering its defenses instead.

The Fight

The Wiccard stands in the way and prepares to summon an enemy in Labyrinth Of Galleria: The Moon Society.

Once you start the fight, you'll want to follow some tips to make it easier.

The First Turn

The team plans to use the Gatekeeper's Proof to draw aggro in Labyrinth Of Galleria: The Moon Society.

Since you can expect the first turn to always play out the same way, you should try the following moves to set yourself up nicely for the battle.

Pact Name

Action Performed

Why You Should Do It

Witch Squad

Use Gatekeeper's Fortress.

You'll set the pact to draw aggro, lowering the odds of your other members taking damage. Since the boss deals physical damage, your Peer Fortress and Aster Crow work well.

Nachiroux's Pact

Use Rapid Boost or Battle Cheer.

Go with Rapid Boost if you have a slower party. However, if you tend to act first, you should use Battle Cheer to strengthen your characters.

Black Paper

Use Heart of Wisdom.

By boosting your defense, you'll prepare your Vanguard to survive the Meat Soldier's attacks.

Disease

Utilize Hardening.

Use it on the Vanguard to boost their defenses.

Gossip

Defend.

This pact doesn't have the best defense, so you'll want to help them survive through the first turn before the Witch Squad can activate their aggro.

Priorities In The Next Turns

The turn plays out against the Meat Soldier, with it attacking the party in Labyrinth Of Galleria: The Moon Society.

As the fight continues, you'll want to keep the following moves in mind and prioritize them accordingly.

Pact Name

First Priority

Second Priority

Third Priority

Witch Squad

Activate Gatekeeper's Proof to draw the aggro.

Attack the enemy.

Heal your teammates as needed, but use your other pacts for healing when possible.

Nachiroux's Pact

Use Rapid Boost or Battle Cheer Dance to buff the Vanguard.

Heal your party members as needed.

Attack the enemy.

Black Paper

Use your Secret Crest to deal damage.

Activate Heart of Wisdom when it runs out.

Attack the enemy.

Disease

Use your Secret Crest if a party member faints.

Use Hardening whenever it runs out.

Use Lamp Fog II to deal damage.

Gossip

Activate Block Physical as needed.

Heal your teammates.

Defend if you don't have any buffing or healing to do, so they'll stay alive.

Utilize Your Reinforce As Needed

The team plans to use Reinforce Abilities to gain an advantage against the Meat Soldier in Labyrinth Of Galleria: The Moon Society.

As you play through the different turns, you'll want to use your Reinforce Abilities in the following situations.

Reinforce Types

When To Use It

Offense

Boost your character's attack power right before they unleash a powerful attack. You should save it for the Black Paper pact.

Defense

Use it on party members with low health. Doing so can help them barely survive the next attack before they get healed.

Tactics or Haste

Tactics show you the turn order, while haste makes all your characters act faster. You can only use one, so go with Tactics if you want to plan your attacks, but choose Haste if your characters tend to act after the Meat Soldier.

Special Orders

Use this if you want to use items on your party members. You can buff them or heal people to keep them alive during the fight.

You only have so much Reinforce to use based on your pacts. Ensure you track them during the fight to avoid wasting them all.

General Tips

The Meat Soldier stands in front of the party after being summoned by the Wiccard in Labyrinth Of Galleria: The Moon Society.

Even if you follow the tips and keep those turns in mind, you can't predict what the Meat Soldier will do during each turn, so remember some more general tips.

  • You should create a save before you start the fight, so you can reload and not lose any Mana or Silver if you are defeated.
  • You should go all-out with your damage if you run out of Reinforce and DP. Switch to the all-out stance to maximize your damage and hope you finish the boss before it finishes you.
  • Don't be afraid to move people to the Rearguard if you want to keep them alive. It never hurts to move them there, heal them, and return to the Vanguard once they have over 75 percent health.
  • Speaking of the Rearguard, if any of your party members drop below 50 percent, have them use Fortify Coven to keep them alive.
