New photos from the set of The Last Of Us's TV adaptation appear to show the game's Boston Quarantine Zone under construction.

HBO's TV adaptation might be a long way off getting a release date, but more and more little details continue to find their way off the show's set. Whether those details be actors cast in some of the game's roles, or backdrops being used to closely represent the settings from those games.

The latest photos, which have been circulating on Twitter this week, appear to show that production is moving along quite quickly. The current set, which has been built in Calgary where the show is being filmed, is almost definitely supposed to be the Boston Quarantine Zone, one of the first places you visit in the game after the virus has taken hold.

If it's been a while since you played through the first game, let us jog your memory. The Boston QZ is where Joel and Ellie first meet, and the former is tasked with taking the latter across the country by Tess, who will be played by Anna Torv in the HBO series. You can check out a side-by-side of the Boston QZ in-game and what seems to be a set for the area in Calgary below.

These aren't the first photos from the show to have surfaced online. The very first image shared included Pedro Pascal with the actors playing Tommy and Sarah in a car. While not confirmed, it seems likely the three were filming a scene from the very start of the first game. When Joel and Sarah flee their house and the world is first starting to descend into chaos. Followed closely by, well, we won't spoil it.

Other images similar to the latest ones looked a lot like a recreation of Austin, Texas, the backdrop for the very start of the game. If all of the images seen so far match up, then it seems the HBO show will follow the events of the games very closely. Its first season will run for ten episodes with each of those episodes reportedly having a budget of at least $10 million.
