In League of Legends, the Jungle player is responsible for farming camps, gaining vision for the team, counter-jungling, ganking, and contesting neutral objectives such as the Rift Herald and Dragon. In many ways, the Jungle player is the enabler of the team whose most important job is setting up their lane players to be successful, while simultaneously looking to put the enemy Jungle player behind.

Ning is most remembered for his insane Camille mechanics and absolute domination during the 2018 World Championships. He holds an overall competitive record of 236 wins and 130 losses. He is remembered as the first player to pick Kayn in the LPL and is known for his ability to pilot mechanically intensive champions to very successful win rates.

This play, in and of itself, changed how the Jungle position was perceived by many pundits. Before this, the Jungle was regarded as a position that took less mechanical prowess than Laners because they had no direct opponent contesting their resources at all times. inSec changed this perception through his aggressive Jungle pathing and insane mechanical ability.

4 Danil "Diamondprox" Reshetnikov (Данил Решетников)

Diamondprox waving to camera and smiling

Diamondprox, known for his days of domination with world-renowned Moscow 5 (M5), invented most of the Jungle concepts that are still implemented to this day. Diamondprox was the first Jungle player to prioritize counter-jungling his opponent's camps to keep them out of the game. Diamondprox, alongside his teammates on M5, invented what is known today as "priority" through his iconic, farm-centric Shyvana pick.

In essence, Diamondprox's teammates would pick champions that could easily push waves, enabling him to roam into the enemy jungle without fear of the enemy Top and Mid Lane players collapsing on him. Diamondprox changed the Jungle role from being a PVE role to an aggressive, skirmish-centric role where fighting over neutral objectives and enemy camps is the priority.

Alongside his former teammate and support player Mata, the two players developed a unique playstyle where, after gaining bottom lane priority, the support would roam into the bottom side river with the jungle player to secure vision and fight over objectives. DanDy's trophy case shows off many accolades an LCK Championship and a World Championship among them.
