Get ready to bring terror to the survivors of Dead by Daylight Mobile with a swinging chainsaw as The Cannibal (Leatherface) finally arrives as a Killer in game! The newest Killer comes with three incredible perks: Knock Out, Barbecue & Chilli, and Franklin’s Demise. In addition to perks, his loadout includes a powerful sledgehammer and Bubba’s chainsaw.
For those who might not be familiar with this Killer, Bubba’s chainsaw can be revved up by charging the power button, which started a timed Chainsaw Sweep that lasts a total of seven sweeps or is cancelled if bumping into an object. The Chainsaw does terrible damage, so hitting a Survivor even once will put them into the dying state, making The Cannibal a nightmare to deal with, especially since the ability is capable of downing multiple players unwise enough to be clumped together!
While all his perks are useful in their own way, Barbecue & Chilli stands out as one of the most useful for all killers. Hooking a Survivor reveals all other Survivors’ Auras for four seconds when farther than 40 meters from the hook, providing essential information on where to head next. Best of all, hooking different Survivors provides a stackable bonus to Bloodpoint gains of 50/75/100%.
In addition to the addition of The Cannibal, as part of a new update for Dead by Daylight Mobile, the progression system of characters will now be tied to individual character XP versus the Bloodweb. This means that individual character XP can be earned by playing the character and receiving emblems for each played game.
The update also brings a new “Treacherous Waters Collection” outfit that players will be able to unlock with in-game currency, as well as several bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. Behavior Interactive, is proud to say that Dead by Daylight Mobile has reached more than 3 million downloads worldwide, just one month after launch.
Players are also in for a treat later this month, as the developers are set to reveal a new licenced killer on May 26 at 2 p.m. EST.
