How To Defeat The Armos Knight

The Armos Knight will perform basic attacks that can do a lot of manage. This mini-boss' main attack consists of a giant jump towards you. When it lands, you will be temporarily stunned and knocked down.

To avoid being knocked down, you will need to jump right as he lands. This can be done with Roc's Feather, an item that allows you to jump.

After he lands, you'll have an opportunity to attack. Unfortunately, his shield will block a majority of your attacks. To successfully hit the Armos Knight, you will need to either perform a spin attack or shoot him with arrows.

The spin attack can be done by holding B. It's very important that you keep the Armos Knight at sword's length. This will ensure that you do enough damage while staying at a safe distance. After hitting the Armos Knight twice with a spin attack, his faceplate will break and you can continue attacking him.

Using arrows will take a bit longer, however it is the safest option if you don't want to get too close to him. Be sure that you aim the arrows at his faceplate, which will cause it to break.

Once defeated, the Armos Knight will explode and drop the Face Key.

Where Is The Face Shrine?

  1. Return to the field of rocks directly above the Ancient Ruins.
  2. To the left, you will see a small island with two Armos enemies. Kill these enemies to reveal a small staircase on the lefthand side of the island.
  3. You should now be in a small underground area. Swim across the water and then use your hookshot to move across the gap.
  4. Go up the staircase and place the Face Key in the lock on the upper righthand side of the area.
  5. With the Face Key placed, the Face Shrine will lift from the ground for you to enter.

That's all there is to defeating the Armos Knight and grabbing the Face Key! Now, you can proceed through the Face Shrine and receive the Coral Triangle.
