The Legend Of Zelda are games that are full of wonderous adventures. Featuring the character known as Link, players got to experience numerous different stories from many different versions of the character. Because the majority of them are reincarnations of themselves, it is clear that not every Link is equal to each other. As such, it is a curiosity to see which Link is stronger or weaker than the other.

10 Not As Strong: Hero Of Twilight

Link from Twilight Princess has a lot going for him. Physically, he is easily one of the most powerful in terms of strength. His equipment is nothing to scoff at and he has had personal training with his ancestor, the Hero Of Time.

He has also permanently defeated Ganondorf, at least until his reincarnation showed up later in the timeline. What sadly holds this version back, compared to other versions is through experience, equipment and the overall power. However, he is still stronger than those also not as powerful.

9 Strongest: Hero Of The Wild

The latest version of Link, he is also by far one of the most powerful in the series. All for a very good reason. Not only was he the most talented knight in the Hyrule kingdom, but he has also faced off against many monstrous Guardians on his own. When he was brought back 100 years later, he eventually defeated Calamity Ganon who caused malice to the entire kingdom.

8 Not As Strong: Hero Of Light

Zelda - Four Swords Adventures, Link

The Hero Of Light is the Link that appears at the end of the Child timeline. Similar to the other heroes that utilize the Four Swords, he is able to multiply and control multiple versions of himself. What makes him more powerful compared to the others on the list is that he didn't just defeat Vaati, but a reincarnated version of Ganon as well. However, because he doesn't utilize Master Sword and his equipment is somewhat subpar, it holds him him back.

7 Strongest: Hero Of The Skies

9 Skyward Sword

The very first Link chronologically in the timeline, he is also easily one of the most powerful versions of the character. When it comes to the equipment and the trials that he goes through, he is easily one of the most powerful. Physically he can do things like climb and carry extremely large weapons. When it comes to his fights, he fought against Demise who is essentially the original version of Ganon. The person who is able to contend with the goddess Hylia.

6 Not As Strong: Hero Of The Minish

The first hero within the Four Swords games, the Hero of the Minish Cap is fairly powerful in his own right. Although compared to other characters after him, he doesn't have a lot going for him. Utilizing the four swords, he is able to use them to push his abilities further by multiplying into four.

Unlike the other Links who used the four swords however, it doesn't split into different Links. He has also fought against Vaati. However, what holds him back is that he hasn't fought someone quite like Ganon or Ganondorf.

5 Strongest: Hero Of Winds

The first hero of the Adult timeline, what makes the Hero Of Winds so dangerous is that he wasn't chosen by the Goddesses at all. He earned the right to be through his trials. He went on to defeat Ganondorf who had the experience of fighting against the Hero Of Time and has gone on to defeat Bellum. All at a young age. His equipment is also crazy with magic armor that surpasses the Hero Of Twilight and stopping time with the Phantom Sphere.

4 Not As Strong: Hero Of Four Swords

The Hero Of Four Swords is the second Link to use the weapon. He is also the first Link to multiply into different colored Links. Just like the other Links, however, he has also defeated Vaati in his final form. The thing that holds him back compared to the other two lies in the experience category. He doesn't permanently kill Vaati and just seals him. He also hasn't fought Ganon or has the long journey that the Minish version of the character had.

3 Strongest: Hero Of Time

Arguably the most famous version of the character, this Link is also one of the most powerful versions. As the Hero Of Time, he is responsible for indirectly creating the timeline splits. His equipment is also incredibly strong and he was able to beat Ganondorf and Ganon. During his time in Majora's Mask, he was able to defeat Majora and obtained many powerful masks. Including the Fierce Deity mask which gives him the power to rival a god.

2 Not As Strong: Hero Of Spirits

The Hero Of Spirits is one of the Links from the Adult timeline. Taking place in the land of New Hyrule, this Link is is arguably the weakest version so far in the franchise. In terms of skills, he is good but is nothing to write home about compared to the others.

He also utilizes the Lokomo sword which helps him fight against Phantoms. Although unlike what the Hero Of Winds recieves, it only stuns the Phantoms rather than outright killing them. Making this Link pale in comparison to the others in many ways.

One of the most iconic Links to ever exist, the Hero Of Legend first appeared during the timeframe of Link To The Past. What makes him so dangerous is the plethora of equipment that he has, all of which he is able to completely use to destroy many enemies.

His experiences also easily dwarf other heroes as he has gone through four adventures technically, and he has fought the strongest version of Ganon. A Ganon who is able to use the Triforce to its fullest potential. Something that this Link defeated.
