The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom is a wide-open world with unusual locations, quests, and shrines scattered throughout Hyrule. Shrines are fairly straightforward, but occasionally you'll come across one that requires you to restore a green crystal to its shrine to activate it.

Jochi-ihiga is one such shrine, which you will only enter once you've already completed the puzzle in the outside world. Some of these shrine quests, like the Necluda Sky Crystal require a little outside-the-box thinking and building, contributing to their challenge.

The Jochi-ihiga shrine can be found in Tarrey Town in the Akkala Highlands. The shrine itself is out of commission and must be repaired, so you are not looking for a typical shrine.

If you've unlocked the Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower then you can head south from there to Tarrey Town.

Jochi-ihiga Shrine Solution

The start of Jochi-Ihiga Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom.

Near the western end of Tarrey Town you'll find a man with a green crystal standing beside a cliff. This is the start of the shrine quest, Rock For Sale, which will complete after the following conversation.

Approach the man and question him about the green crystal, but deny paying his 100 rupee price. His wife will interrupt the negotiations and talk him down to 50 rupees for you, given he stole the crystal from the nearby construction site anyway.

Rock For Sale is now complete, and the crystal is now yours to do what you'd like.

Interact with the crystal to trigger the return segment, and activate a beam of green light for you to follow.

From the cliff with the man, grab the crystal and attach it to the nearby air taxi on the rails.

Ride the air taxi to Hudson Construction Site and remove the crystal from the taxi.

From the construction site, look around and note the building materials scattered around. You will need to build a boat, raft, or your preference of hodge-podge floating vehicle.

If you've unlocked the Autobuild ability, then this should take a few seconds.

Take the assembled boat and attach the crystal to it. Then, bring the boat to the nearby body of water, left from where you got off the air taxi.

Link sails toward the Jochi-Ihiga Shrine.

Use the boat you made to sail the waters in the direction the long beam of light is guiding you. You'll need to go a few hundred feet from shore before you see the shrine located on a small patch of land.

Use Ultrahand on the crystal to detach it from the boat, then safely guide it from the boat to the shore.

Jump onto shore and finish replacing the crystal. As it locks back into place, a small cutscene will play and you can enter the shrine to claim your rewards.

The shrine itself is a simple reward location containing a chest and a statue. Once you've looted the chest and completed the shrine, you'll take home the following:

  1. A Diamond
  2. A Light Of Blessing

Diamonds are exceptionally valuable, so use yours wisely.
