Filled with caves, mountains, and treacherous waters, the Caribbean world in LEGO Bricktales is perfect for a treasure hunt! There are lots of well-hidden animals to collect and, of course, treasure chests to open in the pirates' impromptu hideout. If you want to find everything in the game, you'll need to comb every inch of the Caribbean.
While you might not have a treasure map with a big red X on it, this guide should prove just as useful. We've located all thirty-three collectibles in the final area of LEGO Bricktales, so if you can't find any you know where to turn!
How To Find The Whip In The Caribbean
When you reach the Skill Temple at the top of the mountain, look to the left of the entrance before going inside. There's a hard-to-see ladder on the far side of the cliff, which leads down to a small alcove. Once there, use Dimension to reveal a teleporter. This will take you to a hidden cave under the mountain; go to the right and use Smash to clear the way to the whip!
Birds
Use Dimension to the left of the lookout tower to reveal a Hover rail, then ride it to the top of the mountain. Once there, climb down the nearby ladder and look to your left to find a bird.
Just before leaving the first screen of the Skull Cave, be sure to use Smash at the top of the ladder to pick up the bird to the right of the exit.
In the room beyond the ship grotto, take the teleporter to a small chamber underneath. Walk to the left until the camera angle changes to collect the bird near the palm tree.
When you return to the ship grotto on the starboard side, look for a narrow path to the right side of the map. Using the Dimension Skill there will reveal a valve, which opens the gate below. Go through the gate and wash off the teleporter on the other side of the gap. Once it's cleaned, a teleporter near the door you came from will activate.
Take the teleporter, then move to the right and use another teleporter to reach the area above. Ride the Hover rail that you find, and use DImension to reveal a third teleporter, which leads to the game's final bird.
Chameleons
The first chameleon in the Caribbean is near the top of the mountain, to the left of the Skill Temple entrance.
After blasting open the entrance to the Skull Cave, ride the Hover rail into it. Before entering the cave proper, turn the nearby valve to open the door to a hidden area on the right. Smash your way through the block you find there to rescue a chameleon.
In the hidden cave beyond the skull face, you'll find a pile of dirt just inside the entrance. Clean it up to reveal a chameleon underneath.
After building the cargo lift, climb the ladders beyond it to check the upper-left corner of the ship grotto to find a chameleon. You'll have to use Smash to clear the way.
Rabbits
When you're searching for the lost parrot in the caves, walk all the way to the left after climbing the first ladder to find a rabbit near a palm tree.
After learning the Hover Skill, return to the pirates' lair and reveal the Hover rail near the lookout tower if you haven't already. Ride it to the top of the mountain and use the valve you find to open the door below. Go through the door and all the way to the left, where you'll find a rabbit.
After you blow open the entrance to Skull Cave and Hover through, take a quick detour to the right before entering the cave proper. You'll find a blue arrow that takes you to a previously-inaccessible area of the beach. Turn the valve there to open a gate on the mountaintop, behind the Skill Temple entrance. Behind the gate is a rabbit.
On the far side of the ship grotto, go to the right side of the map and use Dimension to reveal a valve. Turn it to open a gate underneath you, which leads to a teleporter that can be washed off using the Water Skill. Return to the main area and climb the ladder to find a now-active teleporter. Use it to reach the pad you just cleaned, and you'll see another teleporter to your right. Use it, and climb the ladder that it brings you to. There's a rabbit at the top.
Ladybugs
When you build the raft on the beach, sail it to the nearby island. There's a ladybug right where you get off, partially obscured by tall grass.
After entering the caves in search of the missing parrot, look immediately to the right of the entrance to find another ladybug.
Once you have the whip, return to the first floor of the caves left of the pirate lair entrance. In the upper-right corner, you'll be able to swing up to a ledge and collect the ladybug you couldn't reach before.
When you reach the far side of the ship grotto, go as far to the right as you can on the middle platform. There, use the Dimension Skill to reveal a valve, which opens a gate below. Climb down and go through the gate and wash away the dirt on the other side. This activates the teleporter you passed earlier.
Climb back up and use the teleporter, then walk to the right and use another teleporter. Ride the Hover rail beyond and use Dimension to reveal a third teleporter. Take it to the top of the chamber, then use Dimension again to reveal a Hover rail. At the other end of the rail is a valve which opens a gate at the bottom of the cave. There's also a handy teleporter that takes you straight to the gate. Beyond is a hard-earned ladybug!
Hermit Crabs
Look for a passage leading to the left behind the pirates' yoga studio to find a hidden crab.
When the chef sends you to rebuild the rainwater collector, check under the pile of dirt nearby to find another hermit crab.
In the caves beyond the ship grotto, fill all three basins to raise the water level. Once that's done, look for a narrow passage on the left side of the main area, underneath the entrance. A piece of wood will have floated up, forming a bridge to the hidden hermit crab.
When you reach the far side of the ship grotto, look on the right side of the middle level for a hidden valve that can be revealed with Dimension. It's partially hidden by a palm tree, so look carefully! The valve opens the gate below, which leads to a hermit crab.
Chests
As soon as you enter the caves looking for the lost parrot, turn right and take the narrow path along the edge of the map. When you reach a dead end, use Dimension to reveal the hidden chest there.
While you're climbing the caves, look for a passage leading north immediately after climbing the first ladder. Using Dimension here will reveal a teleporter, which leads to a treasure chest.
While you're solving the Skill Temple's challenge, use the rotating Hover rail to reach the platform on the right. The Dimension Skill will reveal a switch that lowers the chest, which you can collect on your way out after finishing the puzzle.
Use Dimension to the left of the lookout tower to reveal a Hover rail that you'll be able to use after completing the Skill Temple. When you reach the top of the mountain, above the skull rock, you'll find a valve that opens a door below. Return to the parrot instructor and enter the door to the right of his classroom, then use Dimension in the alcove beyond to reveal a hidden chest.
Once you return to the pirate hideout after learning Hover, look in the upper right corner behind the yoga studio. You'll find a Hover rail which leads to a teleporter, which in turn takes you to a treasure chest by the pier.
When you collect the whip, check the area to the left before returning to the main area via the teleporter. The Dimension Skill will reveal a valve, which opens the gate near the raft. The next time you're in that part of the beach, go through the door to find a chest.
As soon as you have the whip, go to the entrance of the Skill Temple and swing down to the ledge below. Use the teleporter there to reach the chest at the top of the mountain.
Once the Hover rail through the Skull Cave mouth is exposed, ride it and open the door to the right inside. On the other side of the door, wash off the teleporter you find with the Water Skill and use it to find a path. At the end of the path is a chest.
In the deepest area of the Skull Cave, past the ship grotto, there are three basins that can be filled using the Water Skill. When all three are full, check the lower-right-hand corner fo the main area for a lever that is now accessible. Pulling it lowers the chest nearby so that it can be reached.
When you reach the far side of the ship grotto, use Dimension behind the palm tree on the right side of the middle level. Turn the revealed valve to open the gate below, and clear the dirt on the other side. This activates the teleporter between the two ladders.
Take the teleporter to a hidden area and turn left toward the water instead of going straight to the next teleporter. When the camera angle changes, use the whip to reach the chest above.
After collecting the chest described above, turn the valve nearby to open the gate to the right. Take the teleporter that you passed earlier and ride the Hover rail beyond to reach a new chest.
Next, use Dimension to the right of the chest to reveal a teleporter. Take it to the top of the cave, where you'll find a third chest tucked into a corner.
Once you've collected every hermit crab in the game, bring them to the hermit that lives above the parrot classroom. There's a Hover rail by the entrance of the pirates' hideout that leads right to him. After giving the hermit all twenty crabs, a treasure chest will appear behind him.
