Bespin Bulletin, a reliable Star Wars leaker, has claimed that Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be releasing in either April or May.
The past two weeks have seen a flurry of Star Wars rumours, including that Star Wars Eclipse might not be launching until 2027 and that EA is working on a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order that is planned to be revealed in the next few months and released by the end of the year.
In response to those rumours, reliable Star Wars leaker Bespin Bulletin got in contact with his sources to see if there were any updates on some known Star Wars games. Besides revealing that the Knights of the Old Republic remake is set for 2023 currently, he also revealed the planned release window for Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
In a new blog post, Bespin Bulletin said, "The last thing I heard on LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was that April/May is when the game is looking to release, but it’s not set in stone and things are ever-changing in the current landscape due to COVID-19, which has already forced multiple delays upon The Skywalker Saga."
Although Bespin Bulletin says that this isn't set in stone, May seems like the perfect time to release a new Star Wars game, and Lego games in the past have typically launched around Summer. As Bespin Bulletin points out, The Skywalker Saga has already been subject to multiple delays since its reveal and we've currently not got any sort of release window for it.
Outside of Lego Star Wars, Bespin Bulletin also gave some more details on the sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order that wasn't revealed in earlier leaks. They said, " it will be Star Wars Jedi: followed by a new subtitle…it will not be called Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2, will feature returning characters from its predecessor, some with larger roles, along with exciting existing Star Wars characters that weren’t featured in the first instalment."
