Float On In The Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Don’t Dry: Happy Ending Update

The Leisure Suit Larry reboot released last year, Wet Dreams Don't Dry, is getting a Happy Ending Update.

It's time to take your relationship with Leisure Suit Larry a step further. Exactly one year after the release of Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Don’t Dry, the developers of the adult-themed adventure video game decided to release the first expansion, titled Happy Ending, to the game, which serves as an epilogue and tells players what happens after the original game ends. In addition to more of the same gripping story, the expansion also adds controller support for PC.

The 80s classic returned last year to the delight of old and new fans alike. Featuring its well-known potty humor and sexually-themed puns in the good old point-and-click format, the game follows Larry Laffer on his quest to seduce Faith, an assistant to the boss at Prune– an obvious parody of Apple, featuring a unique logo. According to a press release emailed to TheGamerthe expansion follows the ending of the main game, so that players find out what happened to Faith. Happy Ending is currently only available for PC, but the update for mobile and consoles should follow by the end of this year.

It's not easy being Larry. Somehow transported directly from the 80s into the 21st century, he will adapt – exactly as much as he chooses to. "While my view of the world and women from way back in the 1980s collides with modern reality harder than the breasts of a lusciously stacked blonde jogging along a beach, I’m all set to date my way across the modern world!," reads the game blurb on Steam, in line with what we've learned to expect from the game until now.

Once you're finished with the game play, try looking at the various rooms in the game and count how many innuendos and pop culture references you can find. From the unicorn that features a double-ended horn – Larry's lying on his dating profile brought him into that unexpected position – to a pale scribbling on the wall that says, "Oh, hi Mark!" There's a phallic strawberry growing in a window pot. The condom on the bed says XL. Sure, Larry. Also, try to find the RoboCock. Hint: it's an actual chicken.

TheGamer reviewed the game back in June of this year, so if you're still deciding whether or not you're willing to play with the white-suited Casanova, give it a read. Will your playthrough feature a happy ending as well?
