Life is Strange: True Colors will follow the story of Alex Chen as she works to uncover the mystery surrounding her brother’s suspicious death. To do this, she will need to push her psychic powers of Empathy to the limit to see what secrets Haven Springs, Colorado is hiding. As players follow Alex on her journey, the music of the game will reflect the ups and downs that she experiences.

While recording artist mxmtoon will be providing original music to the soundtrack, she will also be providing the in-game singing voice for protagonist Alex Chen. As Alex Chen works to uncover the mysteries of her brother’s death, her talent as a musician will be on full display as she picks up her guitar and sings. You can catch mxmtoon’s cover of Radiohead’s “Creep” for the game over on her YouTube channel.

The musical talent that was brought in for the game shows how important music is to the world of Life is Strange. Such diverse artists help to create a diverse world of emotions throughout the game and the journey it tells. Players will get to hear these tracks throughout the game as a radio station is prominently featured. Plus, an upcoming DLC, Wavelengths, will explore one of the DJ’s at the radio station bringing even more music into the world of Life is Strange.

Life is Strange: True Colors is out on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on September 10.
