Logan Paul, best known for his Pokemon box breaks is about to make history yet again in the world of Pokemon TCG collecting. The famous YouTuber just announced he spent $2 million on 1st Edition Pokemon TCG boxes and intends to host a gigantic box breaking event right on Pokemon's 25th anniversary.

The short announcement video showcases Paul making the various deals to obtain the boxes. These are now extremely hard to find and of course super expensive to buy. In the video, ironically Paul himself is blamed for why the prices of Pokemon boxes and cards went up. According to a listing shown in the reveal, a 1st edition box in 2007 was only going for about $510 on eBay.

Anyone interested in getting in on this can head on over to Goldin Auctions' website to purchase a pack for the event to be hosted on February 27 at 9 PM EST. The minimum opening bid for a spot will be approximately $10,000. The auction will run from now until February 11.

In the world of Pokemon TCG box breaks, PSA is also now acknowledging Logan Paul by adding his name to the grading sticker from cards from his breaks. You know you've made it big when one of the biggest trading card grading companies agrees to put your name on their sticker.

Things to note about the Logan Paul Break premium tag on their grading sticker: only holographic cards pulled will be sent out for expedited grading, and only holographic cards that score a 10 will get that tag.

For those that can't afford to take part in the event, head to McDonald's for some exclusive starter cards that are much more affordable.  Also, don't forget that a 7-11 in Taiwan even got in on the Pokemon craze this year.

Lucky winners of each bid pack will also receive a holographic "1st Break" Logan Paul Trading Card NFT (digital collectible). This exclusive card will be created and distributed in partnership with BONDLY and Goldin Auctions. Yes, you read that right he's getting his own trading card. Only 44 of those cards will be made so for the true fan of Paul, it's a must-have.

It's another exciting and crazy time in the world of Pokemon box breaks, and it will be interesting to see just what cards are pulled. Most of course will be hoping for a holographic Charizard. Logan Paul continues to shake up the Pokemon world, and what a way to do it on the 25th anniversary.
