The Pokémania era of the '90s is long gone, but the love for the franchise has never been hotter, especially in the United Kingdom.
The previous Pokémon Center London had exclusive merchandise, such as a suit-clad Pikachu, as well as all kinds of plushies and toys that were previously only available in Japan and would have been expensive to ship on their own. The fact that the Pokémon World Championships is being held in the United Kingdom means that there is likely to be even more exclusive items made specifically for the event.
