Each continent in Lost Ark has its own chapter in your Adventurer’s Tome. And a part of each one is finding and following seven hidden stories by collecting clues. Sometimes they’re a single note, while others can lead you to several locations – sometimes in different areas.
The East Luterra hidden story locations are relatively straightforward, except one which is on a very short timer. Some clues are very hard to spot. And two of them need you to visit multiple locations in a single zone. But all the locations are in spots you can get to easily if you follow our guidelines below.
Head Maid’s Secret – Luterra Castle Hidden Story Location
From the Palace Entrance Triport, go into the palace itself. Head northwest and turn right into the second alcove. When you get to the office at the end, investigate at the back of the first bookcase on your left. Here you’ll find the hidden story ‘Head Maid’s Secret’.
Noble Life – Wavestrand Port Hidden Story Location
Head up to the northwest corner of Wavestrand Port and into Moronto’s Manor. Once inside the building, head to the back and look for a pile of books on the ground, next to the left-hand desk. Investigate here to find an excerpt from Cals' diary, the hidden story "Noble Life."
Origin of the Puruus – Leyar Terrace Hidden Story Location
Go to the trees in the middle of the northwest area of Land of Puruus. On the right side of the tree stumps you’ll find part one of the Origin of the Puruus. Warning: This is a four-part story and it’s on a timer. But, you do have 10 minutes to get to each new location and they’re all close by, so there is not too much time pressure.
From the first story location, head southeast into the middle of the next area (with the water elementals). Part two is on the southwest corner of the large central pool, just above some blue glowing plants. Now, head back across the bridge northwest and go to the nook on the east side where you find Leader of the Puruus Jahia. Part three of the story is behind her in the plants. Finally, leave this area north and follow the northeast path towards the Land of Puruus Triport. On the left you’ll find Commander of Puruus Ligheas. And next to Ligheas in the grass, the final part of the "Origin of the Puruus" story.
Pathos of a Genius – Leyar Terrace Hidden Story Location
From the Mistfog Shelter Triport, go south and take the path on the right up the slope. When you get to where the lift arrives, you’ll see a stone monolith with a book on it. Read it to learn the "Pathos of a Genius" story.
Pear Trees and Him – Flowering Orchard Hidden Story Location
Enter the large area of trees you come to after following the long western path into Flowering Orchard from Sunbright Hill. Enter the first field on the right, next to Knight Boens, and as you enter turn immediately left. Under the second tree is a bag, and in it the first part of "Pear Trees and Him."
Warning: This is a three-part story on an incredibly short timer. You only have 40 seconds to get to the second part of the story, which is in the next field directly north of the first one. From the first story piece, head north and then right at the fork, hugging the left side of the path. Enter the field on the left and there’s a tree on the north side (your right) as you enter. The second clue is at the back-right of the base of the tree.
Warning: Again, you have a very short time limit to get to the third part of the story. It’s 40 seconds again, but you have further to travel – so you may want to mount up. You need to go to the southwest corner of the area, where you’ll find a tree next to some rocks by the entrance to a wooden building. The final part of the story is again at the back-right of the tree on the ground.
This is a really tricky story to complete, especially as you’ll likely be attacked by weevils at each of the story points. So it may be wise to bring a friend to fight while you investigate – or wait until you're powerful enough that you can very quickly deal with the monsters.
Sacred Rituals of the Harvesters – Sunbright Hill Hidden Story Location
Go over to the southwestern corner of Sunbright Hill, marked as "World Harvest Base" on your map. As you enter, keep heading west past the crossroads and up the slope. Go right to the back and through the gate, where you’ll fight Kaslur, a relatively weak sub-boss. To the right of the door to the house there is a table. Read the book on the table to learn the "Sacred Rituals of Harvesters" story.
The Name of the Black Rose – Blackrose Chapel Hidden Story Location
From the Church Interior Triport, head out of the Graveyard southeast. At the end of the path leading out, go left and left again along a dead-end path. At the end you’ll find an altar on the right with some flowers at its base. Investigate the flowers to uncover the story of "The Name of the Black Rose."
