The adventures in the Last Resort Hotel aren't over yet, as Nintendo has announced the release dates for the upcoming multiplayer DLC packs for Luigi's Mansion 3

The Luigi's Mansion series is mostly known for its single-player storylines involving Luigi being harassed by ghosts, but the games do have some fun multiplayer modes. Luigi's Mansion 3 has the ScareScraper, which allows a team of players to take on ghosts and search for lost Toads in a co-op mode, while the ScreamPark pits teams of Luigi's and Gooigis against each other in competitive minigames.

Nintendo had previously announced that the ScareScraper and ScarePark modes would be receiving paid DLC content in the future and we now know the details of these upcoming updates. The first DLC update will launch by April 30 and it will include three minigames in the ScreamPark mode, six new themed ghost enemies, three new outfits for Luigi, and three new co-op floors in the ScareScraper mode. The three Luigi costumes include a mummy, a knight, and a disco outfit.

The details for the second DLC update are a little more sparse. The second DLC pack will be released by July 31, and it will include three more costumes for Luigi in the ScareScraper mode, three new themed floors for the same mode, and three new minigames for the ScreamPark. The people who purchase the DLC will receive the Flashlight Type-P, which shows Polterpup's face whenever the light is on a hard surface. The DLC costs $9.99 and can be purchased now from the Nintendo eShop.

It's a shame that Luigi's Mansion 3 isn't receiving single-player DLC, as it was one of the best Nintendo Switch games of 2019. The multiplayer modes are also in dire need of some extra content, so at least there will be more content in the ScareScraper and ScreamPark modes in the future.

The first DLC pack for Luigi's Mansion 3 will be released by April 30, 2020. The second DLC pack for Luigi's Mansion 3 will be released by July 31, 2020.
