Rocky Stoutenburgh, aka RockyNoHands, is the first quadriplegic gamer to sign a professional esports contract with a major organization. A member of the Detroit Gamers, the 33-year-old has been recruited by Toronto-based Luminosity Gaming, a professional multi-gaming esports organization owned by Enthusiast Gaming, which also represents Harley "MrFreshAsian" Campbell, Muselk, xQc, and Lachlan.

Rocky, who has been included in the Guinness World Records 2020 and Guinness World Records 2020 Gamer’s Edition for achieving the most Victory Royales in Fortnite and most eliminations in battle royale using a QuadStick mouth-operated joystick, was signed after Luminosity saw him compete on Destructoid, where fans favored him in the finale based on his skills, creativity with skits/video content, effort and dedication to the stream.

Aside from Fortnite, Rocky has made a name for himself playing Call of Duty and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, among others, using a QuadStick, a hands-free way to game on consoles and PCs by either sipping or blowing. A long-time gamer and athlete, who spent most of his time playing hockey, motorbiking or gaming with his younger brother, Andrew, Rocky's life took an unexpected turn in 2006 when he became paralyzed from the neck down after he fell while wrestling with a friend.

Although he was only hospitalized for a brief period, it took him several years to mentally and physically adjust to his condition. Having lost his job and most of his passions, Rocky began gaming again when his brother introduced him to the QuadStick, a mouth operated joystick for quadriplegics. Soon after, he began competing in multiplayer or battle royale games on Twitch and live streaming matches. Currently, his highest kill count in Call of Duty: Warzone is 13, but he is aiming to reach 18.

The QuadStick was first developed as a prototype by Ken Yankelevitz under the name QuadControl. It was then acquired by designer Fred Davison, who rebranded the controller and launched a successful Kickstarter campaign that led to the production of the QuadStick in 2014.

With more than 64,000 Twitch followers and 53,000 YouTube subscribers, Rocky has given hope to many disabled gamers and will undoubtedly inspire many more with his new platform as a content creator at Luminosity.
