During CES 2021, Mad Catz debuted the brand-new B.A.T. 6+ gaming mouse. It incorporates the "combination of a hypercar, spaceship, and batmobile in its design, which demonstrates its aggressiveness and aesthetics." I'm not quite sure what the hell that's supposed to mean – but it does have some impressive hardware underneath its futuristic design.

Much like the R.A.T. lineup, the B.A.T. 6+ features plenty of swappable parts, including backplates and side skirts. Regardless of the parts you install on the mouse, it was designed to keep your hand cool during extended play sessions. It doesn't claim to be sweat-reducing, but it was built from the ground up to "prevent the gamer's hands from overheating during long hours of play."

Here's the full spec list for the latest Mad Catz mouse:

  • Ambidextrous design
  • Swappable side skirts and palm rests for different grip styles
  • Mad Catz new DAKOTA Switch - 2ms response time and 60M clicks
  • Store your profiles onboard with the Cyborg Engine
  • Pixart PMW 3389 optical sensor (16000 DPI)
  • 10 programmable buttons
  • Braided Fiber cable
  • Customizable RGB lights

If you're looking for a wireless alternative, Mad Catz recently revealed the R.A.T. DWS Wireless Gaming Mouse. For more info on the two products, head on over to its official website. The B.A.T. 6+ will begin shipping towards the end of February.
