MangaGamer, a localization company that recently became caught up in Twitter discourse about a translation decision in The House in Fata Morgana, has had its staff Discord leaked. Screenshots of their off-topic staff channel were posted in a reply made to the official MangaGamer Twitter, setting off heated discussions about the company and the conduct of its employees.

The screenshots come on the heels of a controversy that first began when a translator who worked on The House in Fata Morgana explained the decision behind translating what could literally be interpreted as "I came to see you, you stupid tsundere ***hole" to "How's your fragile male ego holding up?". Since then, MangaGamer and its localization team have been subject to anime and visual novel Twitter's scrutiny, with some Twitter users expressing their frustrations more vocally than others.

Soon after the controversy broke, MangaGamer posted a Tweet expressing its intent to stand by its localization team and reassuring its customers that the company strove to respect the developers' wishes when translating their titles. Several Twitter users replied to the Tweet with screenshots taken from MangaGamer's Discord, many of which feature comments made in a non-professional capacity in the staff's separate off-topic channel.

Most of the screenshots date back to late 2019, with the most recent compiling Discord replies made around mid-March. MangaGamer encourages anyone with questions about the translation of any of their titles to reach out to them at support@mangagamer.com.
