How To Unlock Galactic Mode
Before gaining access to Galactic Mode, you will need to clear the "Championship Cup," which becomes available upon completing the first five Cups available when starting the game. You can complete each Cup on Normal Difficulty and still unlock Galactic Mode.

- Clear Cannon Cup on Normal Difficulty or higher
- Clear Chain Cup on Normal Difficulty or higher

Winning three matches in a row will award you the Cup, while losing a game will place you in the losers' bracket, granting you one more chance to win it all. So, don't sweat the occasional lousy match. You will have the opportunity to redeem yourself, climb out of the losers' round, and snatch clear the Cup.
Galactic Mode
After completing the Championship Cup, you will gain access to Galactic Mode and receive 1,000 Coins as a reward. You can now play Galactic Mode whenever you like by pressing the "X" button, which will tab over to a new list of Cups. Galactic Cups are much more challenging than the standard ones, so be prepared to bring your A-Game to these matchups.
Galactic Mode Overview
With Galactic Mode unlocked, you can now start competing in Galactic Cups, which are significantly more challenging than the normal ones. However, while much harder, they will provide more Coins for clearing them, making Galactic Mode one of the best methods of earning the game's best gear and more expensive offerings.
Rewards
While Galactic Mode won't offer any new pieces of equipment for clearing its Cups, you will receive an excessive amount of Gold for completing them, which will allow you to purchase the best of the best. Furthermore, the first time you clear a Cup on Galactic Difficulty will net you 1,000 Gold, guaranteeing you at least 6,000 Gold if you complete them all.

As showcased above, replaying Galactic Cups may not offer the best payout if you're looking to grind Gold to purchase the best gear in the game for your entire team, but the initial clearing rates are well worth the effort.

Aside from the more intelligent AI and more challenging matches, your opponents will be equipped with gear when playing in Galactic Mode. Not only does gear help improve the individual players, but it will also increase the overall Specialty of the team, so be sure to come prepared with a well-constructed squad of your own to prevent getting walloped.

Before trying your hand at Galactic Mode, we strongly urge you to get a well-rounded team together and equip them with the best gear you can afford. While it's recommended to have a squad of players with a high Technique stat line, we suggest focusing on your strengths first and using equipment that boosts your chances of success for your playstyle.
