After being indefinitely delayed earlier this year in August, Marvel Midnight Suns now has a new release date - December 2. And you can wishlist it right now. This was Midnight Suns' second delay, with Firaxis listing the release date as "TBA". This was all "to ensure the teams at Firaxis Games and 2K deliver the best possible experience for [its] fans." However, it was said in August that Midnight Suns could come "later this fiscal year", and that looks to be happening so long as the new release date sticks.RELATED: For Nothing But The Chaos, Marvel Should Let Kim Kardashian Join The MCUTake-Two chief executive officer Strauss Zelnick said that the delay was because of a "search for quality and a great deal of confidence that we have a wonderful title eon our hands and we want to make sure it's as good as it can possibly be".

If you're sceptical about the new release date and expecting a third, Zelnick assured that they're "not concerned about that", so we are likely to have this strategy card-based Marvel game in our hands just in time for Christmas. Though it's not your typical superhero team-up.

It pulls X-Men, Runaways, and Avengers together to fight back against Lilith, the mother of demons, giving them all themed yellow-and-black suits. This year, it revealed that not only will we see Wolverine, Captain America, Blade, and others, but Spider-Man and Venom - the two aren't exclusive to PlayStation as Spider-Man was in Marvel's Avengers, either.

There are three different editions up for grabs - standard, Enhanced, and Legendary. Enhanced comes with five premium skins, Legendary comes with 23 and a four-DLC season pass, while standard gives you the base build. The Legendary Edition box art, interestingly, turns our heroes into villains, giving Spider-Man demonic horns and a Venom-like tongue, while putting Lilith front and centre.

In total, there are 13 playable heroes, including the Hunter - a new character who acts as a stand-in for us, the player.
