The variety in Marvel Snap allows for creativity in deck building. For example, you can revolve around three-cost cards for a brutal Silver Surfer deck or be thematic by assembling the Avengers. Those theme decks can be fun, and if you choose your cards right, then you will have something to climb the ranks, too.

Spider-Man is a beloved character with some great uses in Snap. If you build a deck around him, then you can support the web-slinger to conquer locations. Even if you don't use everything suggested on the internet, some cards still deserve the thought to be in your Spider-Man deck.

10 Sunspot

When it is that first turn, you sometimes need a card on the field to get the ball rolling. Depending on the cost of the cards throughout your deck, you may need to kill time. Sunspot is a great card to sit on the field until you can start getting your other cards on the field.

By not being an Ongoing card, Enchantress is no threat to him. For being a one-cost, you have to worry about Killmonger, but everything has a counter, so there is always a gamble with any choice. Still, compared to many one-cost cards, Sunspot is one of the better picks.

9 Scorpion

Scorpion is a mean two-cost card. Taking one power away from everything in your foe's hand can be devastating or a scratch. Matches are often won with little point difference, so you should take every bit of power you can grab or erase.

While the villain fits if you want a Spider-Man-themed deck, you can go beyond your theme for devastating combinations. Pairing him with Karma-Taj to take another power away or combining him with Wong in the later rounds can turn the tide. Moon Girl is another useful pairing as you duplicate Scorpion to place two copies on the field.

8 Daredevil

Due to the situational nature of Marvel Snap, Spider-Man and many others are not always the best plays. If you want to make sure your Spider-Man is going to be well utilized on turn five, you need Daredevil.

For many decks, Daredevil is useful if you start to get anxious about those final turns. As he telegraphs what is being played by your opponent before you lay down a card, you can plan accordingly. You can take the offensive to place something at the location of the enemy card, or you can go somewhere else.

7 Green Goblin

If you boil it down, using Spider-Man is about control. Plenty of cards offer control, but you need weapons alongside taking over locations. That is why Green Goblin can be an early play to do some damage to the other side. It can take major plays from the other player to recuperate lost power.

Green Goblin hops over to the opposite side with his negative power. Odin can send him back to you, similarly how he can throw Hobgoblin back at you. With Spider-Man, you can web either Goblin to ensure they stay away from you.

6 Spider-Man

Well, you obviously need Spider-Man for a deck focused on the character, his friends, and his enemies. Every card is situational, but some are more situational than others. The neighborhood-friendly spider can end in a dud, but when the stars align for your play to work, then it can be devastating to be the other side of his web as he blocks off the location for your foe.

Most of the time, it is best to use Spider-Man toward the end. Block a location you think is best to web, and do it on turn five. When that final sixth turn comes, the opponent has one less option for that game-winning play.

5 Zabu

Marvel Snap Spiderman Deck Zabu standard variant

Zabu makes four-cost cards cost two less. Making them two-cost means you bypass Goose's ability to block off anything that costs higher than three. Depending on the combinations you use, you can gain a lot of advantages by bringing out powerful cards that now cost significantly less.

If you are focused on Spider-Man, then Zabu can be a lifesaver if you want to use Peter Parker with anything else. Throw a Green Goblin on turn five with him to ensure the enemy is stuck with the minus-three card. Another use, if you have Moon Girl, is to duplicate Spider-Man and block two locations on turn five.

4 Moon Girl

Moon Girl duplicates your hand, setting you up perfectly for some devilish plays with Devil Dinosaur. She can also be utilized well for a solid Spider-Man deck. Why web a location once when you can have the option to web it again or another area?

Due to both cards costing four, you need the right locations to make this work or to have Zabu. You will win games through various strategies as every match is different, so might as well have her for the opportunity when you can.

3 Enchantress

Preparations are necessary for counters, and plenty of cards can be troubling that are ongoing. Enchantress can assist your Spider-Man deck in Marvel Snap by taking down ongoing abilities, except for Cosmo, as her on-reveal ability will not activate.

Limitations aside, you can gain great use from Enchantress. Ka-Zar, Patriot, and Blue Marvel will boost cards across all three locations without caring about some web on them. Taking out their abilities on turn four and webbing them for no help by the final turn can secure the win.

2 Spider-Woman

Marvel Snap Spiderman Deck Spider-Woman variant

Spider-Woman is a great addition to the Spider-Family for her strength and ability. A seven-power card on the field that can take away a single power from each card on the opposite side packs a punch so hard that it is tough not to want her in every deck.

Turn five or six will work for the five-cost card, but Spider-Woman can fit well for that final turn. During the finale, you can examine what you need the most. You can give that power to a location while taking away some from the enemy. Putting her in the right location, like Karma-Taj, then you double the output from her ability.

1 Professor X

Marvel Snap Spiderman Deck Professor X standard variant

Using Spider-Man for control is a smart play, but Professor X is the king of control. Nobody is getting out of his ability as he locks it down on turn five or six, whichever you decide on to fit your strategy.

The risk is that the other player has something that turns to outpower you, so you are stuck with the loss of that location. Risks will always loom over you, but strategies can best utilize the leader of the X-Men. He can prevent anything on your field from being destroyed in most circumstances. Professor X also ensures your Green Goblin or Hobgoblin stays on the opposite side of the area.
