With the high-level requirement of the harder difficulties in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 3, players have quickly found that some of the Infinity Trails are the best way to level up; but have you found all eight of the Infinity Rifts hidden in the campaign?

Some are easy to find, while others require going a bit out of the way in order to unlock them. Luckily, if you have gone through the campaign, going back to find the rifts is as easy as picking the appropriate checkpoint within the Chapter Select menu. In no time at all, you can have every rift unlocked for use in the Infinity Trails.

The Raft

The first one falls under the category of hard to miss, at least, if you listen to Nick Fury. Head to Chapter Two and select the checkpoint following the defeat of Sandman, which should take you to the Central Courtyard.

Speaking with Fury will grant you access to the prison, and once inside he says that an anomaly has been detected in the area. Luckily, the mini map is a great tool here because it will reveal the single, narrow hallway to follow near the entrance. At the end of the hall is the first of eight Infinity Rifts. This Ability Trial will pit your team against Nebula. Similar to other boss battles, there is reduced damage by increased EP regeneration, making this perfect to try out your special moves and synergy attacks.

This one takes a bit of navigating, beginning from the first checkpoint in Chapter Three. Players will recall how Jessica Jones gave them a series of tips about how to traverse the rooftops, meaning you will need to deal with a few easy ninja ambushes and the spotlight security like before. Once clear of this area you will meet up again with Jones, who will conveniently punch an electrical box to force a path for your party into the temple.

After clearing out the initial courtyard one comes to the bridge which needs to be crossed to progress with the story, but one can instead go past the bridge to a second courtyard, and there we will find the second rift, which is a Synergy Trial against Doctor Octopus. Most attacks do very little damage, so Synergy attacks are key to knocking out his four arms before being able to attack him, both in the lab and again on the elevator.

This Rift is quick to find, as it lies right outside of the Main Laboratory at the start of the chapter. Once you have dealt with the first of Ultron’s lackeys, the lab door will open and the left side will hold the third Infinity Rift, which is a Wave Trial on the Kree Ship that requires defeating 200 enemies.

Xavier Institute

This is another simple one to find as it is also near the beginning of the chapter. Following the defeat of the first wave of Sentinels, run around to the back of the mansion in the garden and the Rift will be easy to spot since the chapter begins outdoors, and unlike the previous Rifts is not hidden down some obscure hallway.

This Rift leads to a Survival Trial with Electra. It is similar to the fight from the campaign except that vitality depletes slowly, but regenerates by dealing damage. Stacking attacks on one of her possessors at once, along with synergy attacks should keep your team’s health at near maximum and you should not lose a single player.

The Dark Dimension

Elsa Bloodstone not only introduces herself here in this chapter, she assists by opening rifts for travel to the next area. After the second rift, there is a detour that can be taken instead of heading straight for the third rift, which is easy to miss at first.

This Rift is a Rush Trial that requires 40 enemies to be taken down in the Raft prison, and like other Rush trials, the damage multiplies with each passing minute.

Wakanda

Of all the rifts, this one takes the cake for being the most obvious. Unlike the others, this one is actually difficult to miss, since it can be clearly seen after thinning out the enemies at the beginning of the mission on your way to the next objective.

This Rift unlocks an Ultimate Trial where you face Kree Justice and his henchmen.

Asgard

Head to the Royal Rotunda checkpoint on Asgard and then towards the objective as normal. When your team heads down a flight of stairs into a large room all along the outside, you will be able to go left towards enemies and the objective, or right towards the Rift.

This Rift unlocks a Boss Wave Trial, which will require your team to fight and defeat all three of Ronan, Nebula, and Kingpin.

Knowhere

After assisting Cosmo your team uses one of the lifts to reach the Ebony Maw, and at the lift exit checkpoint the Infinity Rift lies directly behind the team, on the right. This will unlock an Ultimate Trial where your team will take on Sandman and his henchmen.
