Geth Shield Upgrade (Tali)

25% Shield Boost For Geth

Located during Tali's loyalty mission, where she is on trial for treason. While exploring a ship, you can find a med bay and a small office down a hallway. In the office, you'll need to hack the monitor to earn this upgrade.

Geth Shield Upgrade (Legion)

Found during Legion's loyalty mission after arriving in the Heretic Station Interior. You'll encounter a room where a squadmate (that isn't Legion) will ask how long the room outside the windows is. The Geth Shield upgrade is available in this room by bypassing a Geth Terminal. If you reach the section where you are holding your position against waves of Geth, you've gone too far.

Krogan Vitality Upgrade (Mordin)

25% More Health For Krogans

Found during Mordin's loyalty mission. You'll enter a laboratory with research equipment and a dead Krogan woman in an off-shoot room. Hack the terminal here to get the upgrade.

Krogan Vitality Upgrade (Grunt)

During Grunt's recruitment mission, Shepard will meet Okeer and discuss their past actions. Before you leave, Hack the terminal nearby to unlock the Krogan Vitality upgrade.

Mordin's Omni-Tool

20% Tech Damage Increase For Mordin

Ask Mordin about upgrades after recruiting him.

Subject Zero Biotic Boost

20% Biotic Damage Increase For Jack

Speak to Jack about upgrades after recruiting Mordin.

Capacity Upgrade (Mordin)

During Mordin's recruitment mission, you'll enter his clinic. Find the research terminal to get the upgrade.

Capacity Upgrade (Miranda)

During Miranda's loyalty mission, you'll enter and fight in what is essentially a warehouse. After being attacked by Loki Mechs, head across a conveyor belt. On the other side, there will be an office room with a hackable computer.

Capacity Upgrade (Dr. Chakwas)

After locating a bottle of Serrice Ice Brandy for Dr. Chakwas. When asked to share a drink, agree. It'll be rewarded automatically after the proceeding cutscene.

Capacity Upgrade (Arrival Mission)

During the mission, you'll reach a point where you need to activate crane controls. Use the crane controls to lift up the nearby container. If you go down to where it was, you'll find the medi-gel upgrade hidden behind it.

Purchased on the Citadel, in the Sirta Foundation. It's found in the Zakera Ward, in the Mid-Wards District.

During the Garrus recruitment mission, he will tell you to head to the basement. Before you do, find the omni-tool on the ground.

Damage Upgrade (Kasumi)

Found during Kasumi's Loyalty mission, as You drop into a room where you must fight Eclipse Troopers, an Eclipse Heavy, a YMIR Mech. Locate the damage upgrade on the left side of the door by searching a dead mercenary.

Damage Upgrade (Collector Ship Mission)

During the Collector Ship Mission, a door slams shut, and EDI calculates an alternate route out. The hallway she guides Shepard down has a control terminal where you will find your Omni-tool upgrade.

Damage Upgrade (Tali)

Tali's loyalty mission has Shepard attempting to convince the Quarians that Tali is not guilty of treason. If you are successful and Tali is found not guilty, Admiral Raan will give you this upgrade for your omni-tool.

When attempting to recruit Jack, she breaks her chains and escapes by blasting a hole in a nearby wall. Before you follow her through it, turn around and scan the YMIR Mech in the back of the room.

Damage Protection (Collector Ship Mission)

Early in the Collector Ship mission, you are prompted with an advanced weapon training menu. Just after this, Shepard and the squad enter a room full of Collector pods. There are some ramps to climb up but stay towards the right. When you reach the end of the path, locate the control terminal.

Health Upgrade (Horizon Mission)

Search the open buildings during the Horizon mission. Outside one of them is a dead Collector, which you'll scan to get the upgrade.

Health Upgrade (Reaper IFF Mission)

When looking for a Reaper IFF device, you'll find a few logs with messages from Cerberus scientists. Nearby is a large open space where husks, abominations, and a scion attack you. The far side of the room has a research terminal you can hack.

Health Upgrade (N7: MSV Mission)

At the very end of the mission, EDI tells you where the cargo hold is. Go there to find a container to hack.

Health Upgrade (Arrival Mission)

Found late in the Arrival mission. Leave the core room under the guidance of VI and head down the hall till you reach a door on the left to a dead-end room. This is where you'll find the heavy skin weave upgrade.

Health Upgrade (Overlord DLC)

Part of the Overlord DLC, enter an elevator that crashes into the bottom of the shaft. The room that you exit into will have a damaged Geth corpse that you can scan for the heavy skin weave upgrade.

Samara's recruitment mission involves an Eclipse hideout. You'll find an Asari named Elnora. Search the room and select "Download Results" from the "Sample 634 Analysis" to get the upgrade.

Biotic Damage (Jack)

Found deep in the institution where they were keeping Jack, just before you reach her cell. Several consoles will display messages from certain doctors. Hack the research terminal here to get the upgrade.

Found at a terminal deeper into the Prothean dig site. Hack the computer console to get the upgrade.

Reach the roof of Danius Tower Two during Thane's recruitment mission. Go down to the end and find this weapon upgrade. If you've reached the long, narrow walkway, you've gone too far.

SMG Damage (Miranda)

Found during Miranda's loyalty mission once you arrive in the container transfer area. Find the weapon upgrade on top of a desk inside one of the containers.

At the beginning of Tali's recruitment mission, you can choose one of two paths to clear out the geth. Whichever one you choose, the heavy pistol you need to scan for the weapon upgrade will be found at the bottom of the ramps towards the end, in shaded cover.

Heavy Pistol Damage (Thane)

During Thane's loyalty mission, you'll be transported to Talid's location by Bailey. Immediately go right to find the datapad that teaches you this weapon upgrade.

Heavy Pistol Damage (Jacob)

While on Jacob's loyalty mission, Shepard passes through a female-only encampment and is attacked by a series of mechs. Explore the large crates nearby to grab the heavy pistol weapon upgrade. If you hear Ronald over the PA, you've gone too far.

Heavy Pistol Damage (Lair of the Shadow Broker)

During the Lair of the Shadow Broker mission, you'll enter the Dracon Trade Center. After you activate the suppression systems, take a few enemies out on the upper level and enter the room they were guarding.

Automatically awarded to you at the end of Grunt's Loyalty Mission.

Shotgun Damage (Reaper IFF)

During the Reaper IFF mission, a cutscene will play in which a sniper - wearing bits of N7 armor - shoots a few Husks nearby. Head up the stairs, around, and down the stairs again. At the bottom of these stairs, a Cerberus Shotgun will give you the weapon upgrade.

During the Reaper IFF mission, you will head down a walkway and hear gunfire - someone else is shooting husks. At the end of the walkway is a Cerberus Rifle with the upgrade.

During Samara's loyalty mission, you'll enter Morinth's apartment. Scan the assault rifle hanging on the wall.
