In Mass Effect 3, side quests are more important than ever as Shepard struggles to get enough support together so they can put up a good fight against the Reapers. Aria: Blue Suns is one of those helpful sidequests to finish before the end of the game. In this guide, we detail every step you need to take and what rewards you'll get, depending on the choices you make.
Obtaining The Quest Aria: Blue Suns
You'll obtain this quest the first time you speak to Aria (who is in the Purgatory bar on the Citadel) after completing the main quest Priority: Palaven. She directs you to Darner Vosque.
Talking To Darner Vosque
Next, you have to meet Darner Vosque. He's hanging out in the refugee camp (also on the Citadel).
Once you track him down, he'll let you know he's been raiding C-Sec for weapons. However, a turian General named Septimus Oraka is investigating the incidents. Vosque wants to have Oraka killed as a way to show his loyalty to Aria. Aria just suggests that Shepard talks to Oraka so that he backs off of the investigation.
Finding Oraka
Oraka is usually found in Chora's Den (a strip club). However, during this quest, he's in the Presidium Commons Courtyard.
Once you talk to him, he agrees to lay off the Blue Suns — on the condition that Shepard can find high-grade weapons for him so that they are prepared for the Reapers to attack.
How To Deal With Oraka
There are two methods of dealing with the General...
Method 1: Kill Him
Shepard can choose to take Vosque's advice and just kill Oraka. When talking to him, you will have the option of ordering a hit on him. As simple as that, the quest is done!
Rewards For This Method:
- 5 Renegade Points
- Blue Suns become a War Asset
Method 2: Find Some Weapons
If you choose to help out Oraka, he'll tell you about a Salarian named Kannik who is smuggling guns in the Meridian Place Market. You'll find him there on the upper level, at the Cipritine Armory.
Once you talk to Kannik he'll agree to help out, but only if you bring him a rare artifact. This means you need to leave the Citadel.
The artifact that completes this quest is found in the Kite's Nest cluster, in the Vular system, on the planet Vana. Scan that planet and wait for EDI to tell you she's detected something. Use a probe there to obtain the artifact.
At long last, bring it back to Kannik on the Citadel. He'll agree to work with the General and your mission will be complete!
Rewards For This Method:
- 5 Paragon Points
- Blue Suns become a War Asset
