What makes the Mass Effect series even more unique and viable for visionary fan art is the fact that it isn't set in one country or even just on Earth. It's in space! There are so many options and so much room for these talented individuals to show off their skills.

10 Concept Art - Normandy

The special thing about the Mass Effect franchise is that it isn't just characters that keeps people entertained. It's entire other planets, technology and space ships.

Jon Pintar took it upon himself to create a beautiful underbelly look at the Normandy flying low in the sky on an unknown planet that seems serene and vast. It's not frightening nor magical, just peaceful which is not what one immediately thinks of when thinking space and Mass Effect.

9 Amethyst Tali Zorah

By Mabiruna, this piece is a stunning portrait of Tali Zorah in all her beauty. This is to showcase her and her only, to show her independent strength without any words or actions.

The purple aura surrounding the image, along with her head tilt, does offer a slight magical feeling about the image. A certain curiousness.

8 Romi Shepard

Sephyka is showing off their Shepard here in all her possibly Renegade glory. Everyone's created Shepard will be vastly different from the next, and in this piece viewers can see a bit of who Romi is.

Viewers can see Romi's dark side taking over, the shadows speak on what she's been through and the orange makes it feel like there is no doubting her strength.

7 "Andromeda II"

Peebee was a new addition to the Mass Effect world that players either loved or hated due to her quirkiness. Shamiana took it upon themselves to focus on a portrait of Peebee to show more than meets the eye.

This is a very moving piece by svanha. For three games you play as your trusty Shepard that the player is one in the same with. Then, at the end of Mass Effect 3, it's all over. Many players wonder what happened after the screen went black. This leaves way for artistic fans to tell the untold story of those last few moments.

This is a piece for Garrus romancers who wondered what it would be like if he found them. Other romancers can imagine their own lovers in Garrus' place and feel the end-feeling of the moment when everyone finds out, Shepard is dead.

5 "Killer"

A commissioned piece by ellrano that showcases a half-blooded drell which explains the hair and hands. The drell was originally made for a deadly fan fiction. Having the title of this drell be "Killer" leaves viewers wondering what said fiction could be about.

1 Samara

Another statement portrait of a character, but this time by ruthiebutt. Samara has always portrayed herself as a cunning, beautiful woman and that's what viewers can see here in this fan art piece.
