While that remains to be seen, a popular modder has already added Messi and Mbappe to the 2018 God of War, so the French talisman can get his revenge.
The mod is made by none other than Omega Fantasy who is a renowned modder in the community. Their latest God of War mod replaces Kratos with Mbappe and Baldur with Messi as the two battle it out during their first meeting in the game. This comes via a video posted on YouTube where we can see the whole encounter between the two footballers in the game.
The mod also replaces the Leviathan Axe with a football which is a nifty little detail. The character models are also quite emotive as the facial expressions change based on the fight situation. Fans in the comments also noted that Kratos should've been replaced with Messi, but then it wouldn't be much of a "revenge" as Baldur loses that fight. At one point during the clash when both Messi and Mbappe are fighting in the air while pummeling towards the ground, their models begin to melt - what an intense fight.
