Arthur Morgan is a protagonist who yearns to hold onto his life of adventure forever; it totally makes sense that he is an ISTP. Also known as the virtuoso, ISTPs love to examine the world through doing things and keeping a cool but curious mindset. These personality types are all about first-hand experiences, perfect for a video game protagonist.
They are not fans of people trying to restrict their freedom, which Arthur shows in his struggle to accept the decline of the Wild West. Arthur absolutely fits the virtuoso personality type; it is almost scary how close it fits.

A rare personality type. INFJs are diplomats who have a strong sense of idealism and morality. They are not about sitting by and waiting for their dreams to materialize - they go out and make things happen. Dutc believes that he is a Robin Hood type and actively tries to make the world around him a better place. He uses diplomacy and smarts to figure out the best course of action for his gang, which he takes excellent care of. Dutch sees himself as a personification of the Wild West, or at least a romanticized version of it; such an INFJ.

John Marsten is a recurring character in the Red Dead games, He was the primary protagonist of Red Dead Redemption and is the secondary protagonist of Red Dead Redemption 2. Being another protagonist, it makes sense that Marsten would have the same personality type as Morgan.
Not only that, but he explores the world and his relationships through his actions rather than with his words. Marston is unpredictable and creative, just like Arthur Morgan is. A fantastic video game protagonist and a beloved character in the minds of fans of the Red Dead franchise.

The chief of the Wapiti tribe, Rains Fall is a father and pacifist in a game so bent on ensuring violence occurs. Rains Fall would rather suffer decades of violence and abuse at the hands of Americans rather than risk an all-out war between them and the Wapiti tribe. INFJs are diplomats who prefer peace and helping people over violence. INFJs strive to create balance and harmony in what they do, another fact which seems to ring true with Rains Fall. Unfortunately, Rains Fall's pacifism is not rewarded in the events of the game both on and off-screen.

The tertiary antagonist of Red Dead Redemption 2, Colm O'Driscoll is an infamous outlaw who was once friends with Dutch Van Der Linde. However, they drifted apart and soon became enemies. Colm O'Driscoll is a mean and cynical man who cares little for anyone but himself.
He is also highly intelligent and has been described as being like a 'devil' when angry with someone. ENTPs are often described as devil's advocates and are independent intelligent folks; just like Colm O'Driscoll is. They care little for working on boring tasks and prefer doing fun things or brainstorming creative ideas.

A detective hired after the Van Der Linde gang rob Leviticus Cornwall's train, Andrew Milton loves tradition and civilization. He believes in justice and progress, and is self-righteous and ambitious; he absolutely lends himself to the ESTJ personality type. Also known as the executive, ESTJs are all about tradition and order. They will stand up for what they believe is right and will not hesitate to act. They are dedicated and dignified, often called 'model citizens'. In some ways, Andrew Milton is the model citizen, even if he is a little skewed.
4 4. Angelo Bronte - ESFP
The resident crime boss of the game, Angelo Bronte is in the business of defrauding officials and making powerful friends. He is an intelligent antagonist, who knows how to make a deal and subtly mock his opponents in the same breath. Angelo Bronte's main time to shine in the game is during the Mayor's party; classic ESFP move.
ESFPs are superstars who love attention, gossip, and getting what they want. They want wealth and luxury and will do what it takes to make that happen. Considering Angelo Bronte's actions and personality, he is definitely an ESFP Meyer-Briggs personality type.
3 3. Eagle Flies - ESTJ
The son of Rains Fall, Eagle Flies is a young man who is deeply loyal to those he cares about and will do anything to help his tribe survive. Unlike his pacifist father, Eagle Flies believes that his tribe will thrive if they go to war with the US government, which unfortunately leads to his downfall. Eagle Flies is a proud man but is also easily led due to his youth. ESTJs are honest and willing to take the difficult path to success. They are leaders who bring communities together and give clear advice; all traits that Eagle Flies possesses.
2 2. Bill Williamson - ESTP
Another antagonist, Bill Williamson starts out as a loyal and respected member of the Van Der Linde gang, trusting Dutch entirely. However, he soon becomes embittered, vicious, and cowardly, and eventually leaves the gang to become a feared criminal with his own men.
ESTPs are intelligent folks who like to leap before they look and fix things as they go. They dive right into the eye of the storm and often exhibit some risky behavior to get what they want. Bill Williamson was a good man but soon became the very thing he hated so much.

Quiet and reserved, Charles Smith is a more recent addition to the gang. He is a deadly but honest and competent man that is unbeatable in a fight. Smith is also courageous and sympathetic, a wonderful kind of guy to have as an ally. ISFPs, also known as adventurers, are passionate and daring folks who are always reinventing themselves and surprising the ones around them. They enjoy connecting with others and have a certain charm about them that is hard to forget. ISFPs are sensitive to others' feelings and are usually selfless. These traits are all ticked by Charles Smith.
