Shang Tsung may want the souls of Scorpion and Sub-Zero, but Mortal Kombat fans can get the next best thing: action figures.

This year’s McFarlane Toys display at San Diego Comin-Con provided a glimpse of the two fan-favorite Kombatants that will be available for purchase in October of this year, and they look pretty amazing.

Scorpion comes equipped with his dual katanas fastened on his hips, along with his signature harpoon-like spear (or “kunai”), both of which are impeccably detailed.

Sub-Zero, on the other hand, comes with two hand axes made of ice, as well as a representation of his long-time fatality, which comes in the form of a frozen skull and attached to a spine.

Both action figures are fashioned in the style of Mortal Kombat 11 and will be available for the reasonable price of MSRP: $19.99.

McFarlane Toys originally acquired the licensing rights to produce Mortal Kombat toys earlier this year, which (albeit surprising it took this long) was perfect timing for the most recent (and successful) entry into the iconic franchise. No word yet on whether more Kombatants will be added to the release line-up in October, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see more characters getting the McFarlane Toys treatment over the course of the next year, especially as more content gets added to the game. We are holding out hope for a physical Mortal Kombat 11 version of Spawn, since he’ll eventually be making his way to the game via DLC.

In addition to the Mortal Kombat figures, McFarlane Toys showed off figures from other popular video game franchises such as Fortnite, Doom, and Borderlands - all of which look just as good as Scorpion and Sub-Zero. Of course, McFarlane Toys produces some of the most prolific figures around, so the quality of each character comes as little surprise.

So, start making room on your shelves now. These will be some figurines that Mortal Kombat fans and toy collectors won’t want to miss.
