Miles Morales actor Nadji Jeter posted and has since deleted a photo that has many believing work has officially begun on Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

Marvel has so many projects in the works at the same time that keeping details about all of them under wraps is a logistical nightmare. Tom Holland has become infamous for accidentally letting fans in on details about upcoming projects. So much so that the creators of No Way Home used him to have a little fun in the build to revealing its title.

Holland is off the hook this time though as a different Spider-Man has possibly revealed something a little sooner than he should have. Nadji Jeter, who plays Miles Morales in Marvel's Spider-Man and the apprentice web-slinger's spin-off game, posted a photo of himself on Instagram wearing motion-capture gear and then quickly deleted it.

The prompt removal of the photo appears to have been triggered by commenters speculating that Jeter was wearing the mocap suit as part of preparation for Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Neither Insomniac nor PlayStation has confirmed that the game and its spin-off will even be getting a sequel, so any talk that work on the theoretical project has begun will be understandably squashed at the source.

The speculation that Jeter is working on a Spider-Man sequel might seem like a stretch to some. However, according to VGC, the actor hasn't performed any mocap work since playing Sam in The Last Of Us outside of the work he has done on the Spider-Man games. There's a chance Jeter has been hired to be a part of an all-new PlayStation project, but the quick deletion of the photo after fans started to talk about Spider-Man would suggest otherwise.

Although Spider-Man 2 hasn't been announced, it seems almost nailed on that the game will happen. The first game was one of the best performing titles on PS4, moving more than 20 million copies worldwide. Miles Morales had sold four million copies by the end of 2020 so will be on a far higher number than that by this point. A full sequel to the original game on PS5 will be big business for Sony when it happens.
