This comes in the wake of rumors to the effect that a currently unannounced game called Avatar: The Last Airbender could be released at some point in the next couple of years. The popular fighting game Brawlhalla recently received some DLC based on the famous franchise as well.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is an animated television series produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studios. The show takes place in a world where certain people can manipulate water, earth, fire, and air through a practice known as bending, in other words a form of telekinesis. Avatar: The Last Airbender ran for three seasons between February, 2005 and July, 2008. The series went on to inspire a series of comic books, novels, movies, and a spinoff show called The Legend of Korra.

There have already been several games in the franchise. Avatar: The Last Airbender was released on October 10, 2006. Avatar: The Last Airbender – The Burning Earth came out on October 16, 2007 and Avatar: The Last Airbender – Into the Inferno was released on October 13, 2008. Nickelodeon went on to produce a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game called Avatar: Legends of the Arena that launched on September 15, 2008.
