This recreation of the city of Chicago is amazing and well-detailed. The project was started back in 2013 by Koodoo25. This build is based in downtown Chicago and sees many locations such as Union Station, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Chicago River to name a few.

The famous Cathedral of Notre Dame is an iconic medieval cathedral in Paris. It is known for its French Gothic architecture and is a popular location for tourists to visit. The construction of it was probably a very daunting task which might be the same when trying to rebuild it in Minecraft.

Sapphire Studios decided to take on the task of faithfully recreating Notre Dame in Minecraft, and it definitely paid off. This beautiful recreation of the cathedral took the team over 120+ hours. Just by looking at it, you can see the sheer attention to detail that the team put into this stunning build.

The city of Venice in Italy is an extraordinary city built on a group of 118 small islands. This makes it one of the most unique cities in the world due to the fact it has no roads and is navigated by walkways and canals.

7 Al Khazneh - Petra, Jordan

There are many locations in the world that are pure spectacles to look at. One of those is the temple in Petra known as Al Khazneh. Translated from Arabic to English, the name literally means The Treasury.

This replica was built by mrc93 and is incredible to see. The desert temple in the real world is carved from sandstone rock, which makes the block palette easier in Minecraft. Everything from the pillars to the dome on top really stands out and makes this a sight to see.

If you want to look at stunning architecture recreated in Minecraft, then take a look at the Hotel de Ville. This is the city hall of Paris, France, and has been a prominent location in French history.

This build was done by PelleNomme and is an incredible reaction of the city hall. The construction both in real life and in the game must have been tedious, especially with all the windows, but the finished product really speaks for itself. Everything from the roof to the base of the building looks phenomenal, especially with shaders.

Recreating history in real life is no easy task and taking that and replicating it Minecraft must be an even more daunting task. The Minecraft server Anglocraft has done just that by recreating England in 890 A.D.

The city of Winchester was historically recreated as accurately as can be by a team of four people and shared on PMC by Dwarfsosi. The many rows of buildings, fields, gardens, and vineyards really showcase the beauty of the Anglo-Saxon city. There are many places to visit like a market, a Roman bathhouse, and the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul.
