They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I am beginning to think it's just color we all see differently. If you have been around the Internet for a while, you may remember the infamous dress meme that started countless arguments over what colors people saw, or the more recent show color argument that divided nations and tore apart families. Well, it is happening again, only this time it involves everyone’s favorite sandbox adventure game, Minecraft.

A post to the Minecraft Reddit asks folks to settle a teeny debate among friends. User ProGamer73 posted an image of a block of granite as seen in the game and asked others to let them know if the block is red or orange. A simple question that you would think could be solved in a few comments. Wrong! The post is now filled with thousands of comments of people chiming in with their opinions on the matter and the evidence that supports why they are 100% correct.

It seems nobody can agree on the color of the block. While the original poster gave two options to choose from, many are arguing that it is actually another color altogether. However, what is great about this is not that people have different opinions or see the block differently, it is how eager people are to prove they are right. In fact, many are giving the science behind color to prove why their choice is the correct one.

For instance, some are placing the block’s color on the RGB scale to define the dominant color. Others are using the block’s HSV to prove why we can see all the offered colors. Then some people are just actively trying to be a menace with their responses. Regardless of the actual color, I think we can all agree that we don’t need another color debate occupying our time.
