As the season of giving and gratitude sets in, mobile developers IGG has rejoined forces with UK charity War Child. The efforts seek to protect children living in war-torn regions of the world.

The developers lent support through their Lords Mobile game to raise awareness for the charity last year. The partnership succeeded in raising $20,000 in efforts to bring relief to children in areas of conflict, just within the month of November.

IGG is known for Lords Mobile and other titles such as their Castle Clash games. The company has seen a surge of success over the past year from titles like Craft Legend, Mobile Royale, and Brave Conquest; all released within 2019. With this success IGG has reestablished its partnership with War Child UK, once again using Lords Mobile to bolster awareness for the charity and raise donations for the cause.

War Child Efforts

War Child UK strives to reach children as fast as possible after a conflict has broken out. The goal of the charity is to offer the children refuge and equip them with vital skills for the future. War Child has formerly succeeded in bringing education to children in Syria and helping children soldiers re-acclimate to civilian life in the Central African Republic. Their efforts have also provided sanctuary to children in Afghanistan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Iraq, Jordan, Uganda, and Yemen.

IGG nobly seeks to utilize their success to aid in these efforts. Last year's Armistice Day collaboration was a hit, not only raising the $20,000 from Lords Mobile's player base, but also reaching the initiative's much larger goal of €250,000. IGG will be looking to donate a hefty portion of the proceeds from this year's Armistice Day to charity efforts once again.

The Gift Of Giving Back

It is highly commendable of IGG to lend its name to raise awareness for a charitable cause. It is even more refreshing to see the developers engrossed in the spirit of giving back. Using the company's financial success to pay forward sets a high moral standard for the company, one they seem keen to uphold. The relentless efforts of War Child UK bring a guiding light to countless children in hopelessly dark times and that is something no amount of praise can relay. These companies understand the gift of giving back which is a virtue society as a whole could stand to learn from. If more establishments took on this sort of moral responsibility, the world would be a better place.
